Sexta-feira 13, um dia de sorte! (Friday the 13th, a lucky day!)

Olá, hoje é sexta-feira 13, dia de sorte!



A superstição de que é um dia de azar começou bem antes de Cristo (com seus 13 apóstolos) em várias culturas especialmente na nórdica e na européia e até hoje ainda existem pessoas que acreditam nela.



Mas não vou descrever aqui as superstições tidas como "azarentas" mas sim mostrar que em muitos lugares é o contrário: é dia de festa e de comemorações!



Em Portugal, por exemplo,  muitas cidades e vilas fazem festa como nas cidades de Montalegre e Trás-os-Montes com a presença de bruxos, bruxas, feitiços e um pouco de teatro.



Já em outras cidades portuguesas as pessoas se reunem em volta de fogueiras e em banquetes, mas a maior parte das cidades que festejam a data contam com a presença do povo mágico!



Eu faço parte da turma que festeja a data, que adora gatos pretos e Halloween!



Sabe o que significa um gato preto cruzando o seu caminho?  Significa  apenas que você e o gato estavam próximos, e ele está indo pra algum lugar e só, apenas isso!

Hello, today is Friday the 13th, a lucky day!



The superstition that is an unlucky day started well before Christ (with his 13 apostles) in various cultures especially in the Nordic and European and even today there are still people who believe it.



But I will not describe the superstitions regarded as "unlucky" but show that in many places is the opposite: it is the day of celebration and parties!



In Portugal, for example many cities and towns have parties, like the cities of Montalegre and Tras-os-Montes with the presence of wizards, witches, spells and a bit of theater.



Already in other Portuguese cities people gather around bonfires and banquets, but most of the towns that celebrate the date rely on the presence of magical people!



I'm part of the group that celebrates the date and loves black cats and Halloween!



Do you know what means a black cat crossing your path? It just means that you and the cat were near, and the cat is going  somewhere and just, just that!
