Poinsétia - A Flor do Natal - Aquarela #18 (The Flower of Christmas - Watercolor # 18) - VIDEO

Há poucos dias mostrei como faço uma Poinsetia - A Flor do natal - com a técnica da "pintura negativa", você pode ver o vídeo aqui: https://youtu.be/QetJDLyFV8s

Nessa técnica o motivo principal da pintura vai aparecendo, sendo construído como se fosse "de fora pra dentro", é bem interessante pintar assim.

E hoje venho mostrar como faço uma Poinsetia "normal": fiz o desenho e aquarelei, pintei o fundo e pronto.

Uma das coisas que gosto no Natal é dessa flor, linda, vermelha, aberta. Ele pode ser cultivada o ano inteiro mas no Natal é especial, parece um dos símbolos natalinos porque quando olho pra ele imediatamente me vem á cabeça de que é Natal, não importa a época do ano!

In this technique the main motif of the painting  appears slowly, being constructed as if it were "from outside to inside", it is very interesting to paint like this.

And today I am here to show how I paint a "normal" Poinsetia: I did the drawing and watercolored it, painted the background and voilà!

One of the things I like about Christmas is this flower, beautiful, red, open. It can be grown year-round but on Christmas it is special, it seems like one of the Christmas' symbols because when I look at it immediately  comes to my mind that it's Christmas no matter what time of the year  is!

Vamos ver o material que usei, e as cores:

- base de madeira (pode ser de papelão também, ou diretamente em uma mesa);

- papel Markatto branco 250g/m²;

- fita crepe;

- lápis e borracha;

- pincel chato da Vinci nº 18;

- pincel redondo Raphael nº12;

- pincel redondo Winsor&Newton nº3;

- aquarela Winsor&Newton: Quinacridone Rose, Madder Lake Deep, Gamboge, Azo Yellow, Phtalo Green e Payne's Gray.

Let's see the material I used, and the colors:

- wooden base (can be cardboard too, or directly on a table);

- white Markatto paper 250g / m²;

-  tape;

- pencil and eraser;

- da Vinci flat brush nº 18;

- round brush Raphael nº12;

- Winsor & Newton round brush # 3;

- Winsor & Newton watercolors: Quinacridone Rose, Gamboge, Azo Yellow, Phtlato Green  and Payne's Gray.
