Muitas e muitas saudades daqui, de poder escrever, de compartilhar com você meus posts de arte, de encadernação, e tudo que coloca um sorriso no nosso rosto! 

Antes de continuar, vou colocar o texto que está no meu Instagram, dando vivas ao retorno do blog e agradecendo à pessoa que o ressucitou:

"Após MUITOS e MUITOS meses com meu blog fora do ar por problemas técnicos, com a ajuda imprescindível e única de @miguelfelipi @conteiaovento (Instagram), hoje finalmente ele renasceu!

Todos os agradecimentos não são suficientes para expressar minha gratidão ao Miguel que prontamente me ajudou.

Meu blog é pra mim o lugar mais importante neste mundo digital pois nele há o registro de toda a minha história desde que comecei na encadernação artesanal.

Então, Miguel, minha eterna gratidão a você.

Desde 2010 quando fiz o primeiro post, aos poucos, vi meu blog crescer em visitas de todos os lugares do planeta, dos mais remotos aos mais conhecidos.

Milhares de visitas por dia até o momento em que saiu do ar, e com certeza deve ter deixado um ponto de interrogação em cada pessoa que fielmente o visitava.

Hoje renasceu com o ultimo post de julho de 2021 e com um novo desafio: reconquistar o coração das pessoas.

Este blog é minha identidade. Este blog sou eu."

E foi isso que aconteceu: problemas técnicos! 

Então você já sabe que se o blog sumir em algum momento no futuro, com certeza não foi excluído e voltará assim que possível.

Estamos no fim de Outubro de 2023, farei uma viagem e voltarei em meados de Novembro então vou tentar postar algo relacionado a desenho ou pintura (sim, porque de encadernação já temos o Instagram) e recomeçar aos poucos porque serão meses de feriados: Natal, Ano Novo, Carnaval.... então pra dar continuidade mesmo com os posts acredito que conseguirei a partir de meados de fevereiro já que o Carnaval no ano que vem é quase no começo desse mês.

Então, depois do Carnaval de 2023 começo firme com vídeos e posts de arte.

Estou ansiosa pra começar...pra recomeçar, mas bem antes de fevereiro já vou "agitar" algum conteúdo por aqui! 😍

Agradeço a você que visita este blog, e que mesmo com ele fora do ar continuou visitando na esperança de que ele já tivesse voltado, que estivesse normal. 

De ontem á noite até o momento em que estou escrevendo este post, menos de 24 horas, já tive 1100 visitas, e isso só me mostra que muitos de vocês não desistiram deste blog.

I really miss being here, being able to write, sharing with you my art posts, bookbinding posts, and everything that puts a smile on our faces!

Before continuing, I will post the text that is on my Instagram, cheering the return of the blog and thanking the person who resurrected it:

"After MANY, MANY months with my blog down due to technical problems, with the essential and unique help of @miguelfelipi @conteiaovento (Instagram), today it was finally reborn!

All the thanks are not enough to express my gratitude to Miguel who promptly helped me.

For me, my blog is the most important place in this digital world because it records my entire story since I started  bookbinding.

So, Miguel, my eternal gratitude to you.

Since 2010 when I made the first post, little by little, I have seen my blog grow with visits from all over the planet, from the most remote to the most well-known.

Thousands of visits per day until the moment it went offline, and it certainly must have left a question mark in each person who faithfully visited it.

The reborn was yesterday night with the last post of July 2021 and with a new challenge: winning back people's hearts.

This blog is my identity. This blog is me."

And that's what happened: technical problems!

So now you  know that if the blog disappears at some point in the future, it certainly hasn't been deleted and will be back as soon as possible.

It's the end of October 2023, I'm going on a trip and I'll be back in mid-November so I'll try to post something related to drawing or painting (yes, because we already have Instagram for bookbinding) and start over little by little because it will be months of holidays: Christmas, New Year, Carnival.... so to continue with the posts I believe I will be able to do so from mid-February since Carnival next year is almost at the beginning of this month.

So, after Carnival 2023, I will start firmly with videos and art posts.

I'm looking forward to starting...to start over, but well before February I'll be "stirring up" some content here! 😍

I thank you for visiting this blog, and even with it down, you continued to visit in the hope that it had returned, that it was normal.

ART JOURNALING: O QUE PODEMOS FAZER (ART JOURNALING: WHAT WE CAN DO)

Podemos exercitar fielmente cada palavra: replantar, preservar, ajudar, respeitar, socorrer, reflorestar, amar, proteger....podemos usar a ciência a favor do planeta resgatando espécies ameaçadas de extinção, quem sabe recuperando algumas recentemente extintas e até evitando o que puder ser evitado da grande extinção desenfreada de flora e fauna que está em curso no momento.

Que seja feita a vontade do Homem, e que ele colha o que tiver plantado.

We can faithfully exercise every word: replant, preserve, help, respect, reforest, love, protect .... we can use science in favor of the planet to rescue endangered species, perhaps recovering some recently extinct and even avoiding what can be avoided from the great unrestrained extinction of flora and fauna that is currently underway.

Let the will of man be done, and let him reap what he has sown.

PELIKAN 4001 INK - Resenha (Review)

Quem gosta de caneta tinteiro pra desenhar está sempre á procura da tinta ideal: aquela que é resistente á água!
Pergunta daqui, pergunta dali, pesquisa em sites pra ver as opiniões....e acabamos com uma coleção de tintas de todas as cores, de várias marcas...tudo em busca da tinta que não borra.
Quem gosta de desenhar e aquarelar depois está sempre com a atenção voltada para as novidades e as empresas já entenderam que milhões de pessoas preferem esse tipo de tinta, até quem não faz desenho!
Neste vídeo eu faço a resenha da Pelikan 4001....será que ela é resistente á água?

Anyone who likes to draw with a fountain pen is always looking for the ideal ink: one that is water resistant!

In this video I review the Pelikan 4001 .... is it water resistant?

Usarei um bico de pena para escrever porque minhas canetas tinteiro já estão completas com outras tintas.

I will use a feather pen  to write because my fountain pens are already completed with other inks.

A primeira análise que fazemos é a da caixa, quais informações estão nela?

- é uma tinta fabricada especialmente para ser usada em canetas tinteiro, ou seja, a tinta não entope a caneta quando usada da forma correta;

- tinta alemã;

- vidro com 30ml;

- tinta permanente para caneta, ou seja, depois de seca ela não sai mas isso não quer dizer que seja resistente à água, quer dizer que ela não desaparece com o tempo!

The first analysis we do is that of the box, what information is in it?

- it is an ink specially manufactured to be used in fountain pens, that is, the ink does not clog the pen when used in the correct way;

- German ink;

- 30ml glass;

- permanent ink for a pen, that is, after it dries it does not come out but that doesn’t mean it’s water resistant, it  means it doesn’t disappear over time!

Guarde sempre o vidro de tinta dentro da embalagem original para evitar a luz direta e também para proteger o vidro contra possíveis quedas.

Always store the ink glass in its original packaging to avoid direct light and also to protect the glass from possible drops.

Como comparação, vou escrever com uma caneta permanente e com o bico de pena vou usar a tinta Pelikan 4001, nas cores que possuo: vermelha, violeta e azul.

As a comparison, I will write with a permanent pen and with the feather pen  I will write with  the Pelikan 4001 ink, in the colors I have: red, violet and blue.

Ao molhar o bico de pena na tinta é importante que o orifício na pena seja totalmente preenchido com tinta.

When wetting the nib in the ink it is important that the hole in the nib is completely filled with ink.

Depois passo o pincel úmido com água sobre cada escrita, separadamente.

Then I pass the brush damp with water over each writing, separately.

Apenas a caneta resistente á água não borrou. Todas as tintas Pelikan 4001 borraram!

Only the water resistant pen did not smudge. All Pelikan 4001 inks are blurred!

A tinta Pelikan 4001 é ótima e podemos aproveitar o fato de que é solúvel em água para fazer lindos desenhos e pinturas monocromáticas.

Portanto, tinta aprovada e as cores são lindas!

Pelikan 4001 ink is great and we can take advantage of the fact that it is water-soluble to make beautiful monochrome drawings and paintings.

So, the ink is  approved and the colors are beautiful!

LÁPIS DE COR COLOURSOFT DERWENT - RESENHA (COLORED COLOURSOFT DERWENT PENCILS - REVIEW)

Lápis de Cor Coloursoft da Derwent é um lápis seco, não aquarelável, mas que possui uma quantidade suficiente para fazer jus ao nome "soft", ou seja, macio.

Muito macio devido á quantidade cera em sua mina que faz com que o lápis deslize com facilidade sobre o papel; poder misturar as cores é uma das características desse lápis e o resultado final é excelente!

De qualidade Profissional e preço acessível, é um lápis que super recomendo pra qualquer artista que quiser elevar a qualidade de suas pinturas.

Neste vídeo vamos fazer a Tabela de Cores sobre um papel branco para que possamos sempre consulta-la ao escolher as cores para a nossa pintura.

ColorColoursoft Pencil from Derwent is a dry pencil, not washable, but with enough quantity to live up to the name "soft".
Very soft due to the amount of wax in its lead which makes the pencil slide easily on the paper; being able to mix colors is one of the characteristics of this pencil and the final result is excellent!
Professional quality and affordable, it is a pencil that I highly recommend to any artist who wants to raise the quality of the paintings.
In this video we are going to make the Color Chart on a white paper so that we can always consult it when choosing the colors for our painting.

Os lápis tem formato cilíndrico, todos na cor marrom com a ponta destacada com a cor da mina.

Na caixa eles vem arrumados pela cor, de tons claros a escuros.

The pencils have a cylindrical shape, all in brown with the tip highlighted with the color of the mine.

In the box they are arranged by color, from light to dark tones.

No corpo de cada lápis está gravado as palavras "England", "Derwent- Coloursoft", o nome a série alfa numérica do lápis.

The words "England", "Derwent- Coloursoft" are engraved on the body of each pencil, as the name of the alpha numerical series of the pencil.

Esta é uma caixa com 24 cores então fiz 24 espaços em um papel, um para cada cor.

Escrevi com marcador permanente o nome e a série alfa numérica em cada espaço.

Começo pintando o triângulo superior de cada espaço com mais pressão na mão e a partir do meio vou suavizando a pressão.

This is a box with 24 colors so I made 24 spaces on a paper, one for each color.

I wrote the name and the alpha numeric series in each space with a permanent marker.

I start by painting the upper triangle of each space with more pressure on the hand and starting from the middle I soften the pressure.

Esta caixa possui as seguintes cores, arrumadas na seguinte ordem:

This box has the following colors, arranged in the following order:

- C040 Deep Cadmium;

São, de fato, aveludados, deslizam muito bem e apesar da quantidade de cera nas minas possuem alta pigmentação.

Portanto, excelentes, super indico a aquisição destes lápis tanto por profissionais quanto por amadores na arte de pintar.

They are, in fact, velvety, they slide very well and despite the amount of wax in the leads they have high pigmentation.

ART JOURNALING: VEJA O QUE FIZEMOS (ART JOURNALING: SEE WHAT WE HAVE DONE)

Olhar o passado e o presente e entender de uma vez por todas que há um limite para todo o mal, para toda a devastação, todos os maus tratos que a Raça Humana tem feito ao planeta e que isso tem um custo!
Quem semeia pedras não colhe maçãs.
Extinção de espécies animais e vegetais gera um enorme desequilíbrio para todos.
A extinção de uns leva à extinção de outros porque está tudo interligado, estamos todos interligados.
Estamos caminhando para cerca de 1 MILHÂO de espécies que serão extintas rapidamente, em tempo recorde.
Que a Raça Humana, do alto de toda a sua soberba e arrogância, acorde antes que seja impossível sair da tempestade.
Expressar através da Arte o que sinto com relação a tudo isso é minha forma de protesto.
Por enquanto.

Looking at the past and the present and understanding once and for all that there is a limit to all evil, to all devastation, all the mistreatment that the Human Race has done to the planet and that it has a cost!

PERSPECTIVA: 2 PONTOS DE FUGA (2 POINT PERSPECTIVE)

No vídeo anterior vimos como o desenho em perspectiva com 1 ponto de fuga é importante e nos ajuda na evolução do nosso traço e na forma como desenhamos e representamos o que vemos.
Neste vídeo vamos ver a perspectiva de 2 pontos, igualmente interessante, um passo a mais no desenho.
Aos poucos e com calma, com o uso da perspectiva, vamos evoluindo e percebendo melhor o mundo que nos cerca.

In the previous video we saw how the drawing in perspective with 1 vanishing point is important and helps us in the evolution of our line and in the way we draw and represent what we see.

In this video we will see the perspective of 2 points, equally interesting, one more step in the drawing.

Gradually and calmly, with the use of perspective, we are evolving and better understanding the world around us.

A partir da Linha do Horizonte eu escolho um ponto e traço uma reta perpendicular a essa linha, todos os ângulos onde as linhas se cruzem devem ter 90º.

From the Horizon Line I choose a point and draw a straight line perpendicular to that line, all angles where the lines intersect must be 90º.

Escolho dois Pontos de Fuga em cima da Linha do Horizonte, á esquerda e á direita do cruzamento das linhas.

I choose two Vanishing Points above the Horizon Line, to the left and right of the crossing of the lines.

Traço uma reta na perpendicular feita, e a partir dela uno os vértices dessa reta aos 2 Pontos de Fuga, assim minha figura vai tomando forma.

I draw a line on the perpendicular already done, and from it I join the vertices of that line to the 2 Vanishing Points, so my figure is taking shape.

As laterais da minha figura serão sempre perpendiculares.

The sides of my figure will always be perpendicular.

Desenhei um cubo em perspectiva e esse cubo pode ser várias coisas; a partir dele vou desenhar edifícios em uma rua.

I drew a cube in perspective and this cube can be several things; from it i will draw buildings on a street.

Neste momento passo a desenhar perpendiculares e as diagonais devem sempre se unir aos Pontos de Fuga. É possível desenhar uma rua inteira assim.

At this point I start drawing perpendiculars and the diagonals must always join the Vanishing Points. It is possible to draw an entire street like this.

É um exercício muito bom, experimentar colocar o cubo inicial em  várias posições.

It is a very good exercise, experimenting with placing the initial cube in various positions.

Por exemplo, podemos colocar o cubo exatamente sobre a Linha do Horizonte, como se estivéssemos olhando um edifício ao longe, como mostra a figura abaixo.

For example, we can place the cube exactly over the Horizon Line, as if we were looking at a building in a distance, as shown in the figure below.

O conhecimento de Perspectiva torna nossos desenhos muito melhores. Observe como usei esse conhecimento nos desenhos abaixo.

Perspective knowledge makes our drawings much better. Notice how I used this knowledge in the drawings below.

Mas é preciso estudo e muito treino porque embora seja possível entender como funciona, é preciso treinar no papel com um cubo, ou outro sólido geométrico, em várias posições abaixo da Linha do Horizonte.

Quando colocamos o cubo acima da Linha do Horizonte ele deve ficar exatamente sobre ela, caso contrário teremos 3 Pontos de Fuga. 

Veremos 3 Pontos de Fuga no próximo vídeo sobre Perspectiva.

But it takes study and a lot of training because although it is possible to understand how it works, it is necessary to train on paper with a cube, or other geometric solid, in various positions below the Horizon Line.

When we place the cube above the Horizon Line it must be exactly on top of it, otherwise we will have 3 Vanishing Points.
