E apresentando......as Agendas 2013!

Hello!

And presenting .... the 2013 Schedules!

São 4 modelos de Agendas e num tamanho que agrada a todos: 14,8cm de base por  20,6 cm de altura e lombada com 2 cm.



As agendas nesse tamanho são as mais procuradas aqui no Estúdio porque cabe tudo nelas! Todas as informações que precisamos anotar além dos compromissos, até dicas de receitas, recados, orçamento.....e também cabem os cartões, os bilhetes, pequenos papéis....e quando chega o fim do ano é difícil substituí-la por outra porque tem tanta coisa boa anotada! 



Bom, mas vamos lá!



Este ano o tecido frontal em todas as agendas é importado.



Temos a vermelha, ou seja, a capa de trás até a lombada em tecido vermelho e a capa frontal em tecido com pequenos quadrados em tons de vinho e verde (não sei porque isso me lembra da Escócia!).





There are 4 models of Schedules and a size that pleases everyone: 14.8 cm base by 20.6 cm high and the spine with 2 cm.




This size is the most sought here in the Studio because it fits everything! All the information we need to note beyond the commitments, revenue up tips, notes, and budget ..... and the cards, the tickets, the small roles .... and when  the end of the year comes is difficult to replace the schedule by another because it has so many good things annotated!



Well, let´s have a look!



This year the front fabric  on all schedules is imported.



We have the red one, with the back cover to the spine in red cloth, and  front cover with small squares in shades of green and wine (I do not know why it reminds me of Scotland!).

As capas internas são cobertas com papel Color Plus, 120g/m², em cor combinando com o tecido da capa. 

São 390 folhas em papel offset, branco.

The back covers are covered with Color Plus paper, 120g/m², the color matching with the fabric cover.

There are 390 sheets of offset white paper.

Vejam a agenda na parte de trás: as fitas vão de um lado a outro das capas,  o elástico de fechamento é redondo.



See the back of the schedule: the ribbons go from one side to another of the covers, the elastic closure is round.

  E agora a novidade: o que fazemos com os papéis que colocamos dentro da agenda durante o ano? e os recadinhos? até fotos que guardamos na agenda?......o que faremos em 2013? Vamos guardar tudo neste BOLSO que fica na capa posterior interna! Assim, não cai nada e não se perde nada!



And now the news: what do we do with the roles we place on schedule during the year? and the little messages? even photos that we keep in the schedule? ...... what are we going to do in 2013? We will keep all this in a POCKET on  the inside back cover! So nothing will fall or be lost!

É um bolso grande, prático, e como está na parte de trás ninguém vê, só você! 

It is a large pocket, practical, and as it is in the back nobody sees, only you!

Agora vamos à agenda mais delicada de 2013: o tecido frontal é de fundo azul suave com poás azuis também, cerejinhas delicadas e com um toque prateado!

Now let´s see the more delicate of all 2013 schedules: the front fabric is  of soft blue background fabric with  blue dots,  delicate little cherries with a touch of silver!

As fitas suaves completam a leveza desta agenda.

The soft ribbons complete the lightness of this schedule.

A capa posterior é toda em azul claro, passando pela lombada e acabando na capa frontal.

O elástico, redondo,  é azul clarinho também.

The back cover is all in light blue, going through the spine and ending on the front cover.

The elastic, round, is light blue  too.

Fofinha, não é?



Cute, isn't it?

Olhem esta: capa posterior amarela, fita tipo indiana com elefantes, e capa frontal estampada, também com contornos dourados.

Look at this one: yellow back cover, kind of Indian ribbon with  elephants, stamped front cover, also with golden edges.

Agora um azul mais forte! O tecido frontal é roxo, com flores azuis e vermelhas contornadas com dourado.



Now a  stronger blue! The front fabric is purple with red and blue flowers outlined with gold.

 Fitas com toques de dourado também, e vejam a posição delas....bonitas, não são?



 Ribbons also with touches of gold, and look at their their position .... beautiful, aren't they?

Todas juntas, cores lindas e fortes! 2013 é o Ano da Serpente e por isso as cores tem que ser fortes!



All together, strong and beautiful colors! 2013 is the Year of the Snake and the colors must be strong!

Halloween na Escócia (Halloween in Scotland)

Olá!



Amanhã estaremos definitivamente de volta ao Brasil. Já está na hora dos preparativos para o Natal no Estúdio Brigit!



E as Agendas 2013?!  Muita gente já perguntou sobre elas, vou tirar as fotos e mostra-las o mais rápido possível. 

Este ano o número de Agendas 2013 será uma "Edição Limitada" pois o número de encomendas de outros produtos aqui no Estúdio aumentou bastante (ainda bem, não é?).



Na próxima vida quero nascer polvo pra dar conta de tantos trabalhos!



Bom, como foi o Halloween?



Aqui na Escócia muitas lojas ficaram enfeitadas  pra comemorar a data mas também já tem gente enfeitando as vitrines pro Natal.



Seja como for é um show de enfeites e de cores!



A foto acima é de uma hospedaria (numa cidadezinha linda) com abóboras enfeitando e ao lado, no quintal (foto abaixo), as árvores também ganharam decoração de abóboras, caveirinhas e até silhuetas de bruxas e caldeirão!

And the 2013 Schedules ?! Many people have asked about them; I'll take pictures and show them ASAP.



This year the number of 2013 Schedules will be a "Limited Edition" because the number of orders for other products here in Studio greatly increased (thankfully, isn' it?).



In the next life I want to be born an octopus for so much work!



Well, how was Halloween?



Here in Scotland many shops were decorated to commemorate the date but there are also  people gracing the windows for Christmas.



However it is, it's a show of ornaments and colors!



The photo above is of a hostel (in a lovely town) decorated with pumpkins and in the adjoining yard (pictured below) the trees also gained decorating pumpkins, skulls and even silhouettes of witches and cauldron!

É isso, pessoal, quando voltar vou mostrar a vocês um pouco do que vi em outras cidades, outros países...e mostrar um pouco do lugar mais bonito que já vi na vida: a cidade de Edimburgo, capital da Escócia.

Feliz Halloween! (Happy Halloween!)

Olá!

Já estamos voltando das férias, estamos quase chegando, e nada melhor do que abrir as postagens para celebrar o Halloween, festa que gosto bastante!

Nessa época do ano muitos países do Hemisfério Norte enfeitam suas casas e quintal com abóboras iluminadas, com figuras de monstros, fantasmas e bruxas. As crianças ganham doces, caso contrário fazem travessuras: travessuras ou gostosuras? 

No Hemisfério Sul  alguns lugares  comemoram a data, e no Brasil o Halloween começa a ficar popular também.

Alguém sabe o por quê das abóboras iluminadas? Estou aqui bem pertinho da Irlanda, que foi onde nasceu essa lenda, então vou contar:

Há muito tempo atrás, na Irlanda, havia um homem pão-duro, ranzinza e um tanto malvado mesmo, chamado Jack.

De tão ruim que era, na hora de sua morte o Diabo apareceu para leva-lo para o inferno.

Jack convidou o Diabo para tomar uma bebida antes de morrer, como último desejo, mas na hora de pagar Jack convenceu o Diabo a se transformar numa moeda para poder pagar a conta; o Diabo concordou mas assim que se transformou em moeda, Jack pegou a moeda e a colocou em seu próprio bolso, junto com uma cruz de prata e isso impediu que o Diabo voltasse à sua forma original.

Para soltar o Diabo, Jack impôs a condição de ficar vivo por mais 1 ano. O Diabo concordou...

Um ano se passou e lá veio novamente o Diabo levar Jack. Como último pedido, Jack pediu a ele que subisse numa árvore para pegar uma fruta mas assim que o Diabo subiu Jack esculpiu uma cruz no tronco da árvore, impedindo o Diabo de descer.

Novamente Jack chantageou  o Diabo, fazendo-o prometer que o deixaria vivo por mais 10 anos  e de que na hora de sua morte o Diabo não levaria sua alma...o Diabo prometeu...

No entanto, quase 1 ano depois Jack morreu!

Chegando no céu não foi aceito pois quando estava vivo era uma pessoa muito má. 

Então, Jack foi para o inferno mas chegando lá o Diabo também não o aceitou pois havia feito a promessa de não pegar sua alma, e o deixou do lado de fora, vagando pelo limbo.

Como o Diabo não era assim tão mau, deu a Jack uma brasa de carvão para iluminar o caminho.

Jack pegou um nabo, fez um buraco nele e colocou o carvão. E assim, Jack anda pela escuridão até os dias de hoje, iluminado apenas por um pedaço de carvão!

Na Irlanda e na Escócia as pessoas começaram a contar sua própria versão de Jack, esculpindo nabos e batatas com rostos feios e bizarros, colocando nas portas e nas janelas para espantar os maus espíritos. O mesmo era feito na Inglaterra, com beterrabas.

Depois, os imigrantes que foram para a América do Norte substituíram os nabos e batatas por abóboras, que eram bem maiores e que estavam em abundância no local.

Então, gostaram da lenda? Já conheciam?

Este ano não pude comemorar o Halloween  do jeito que gosto, mas as vitrines, as ruas e as casas de todo Reino Unido e da Irlanda estão bem enfeitadas!

Então, Feliz Halloween para todos os monstrinhos, fantasminhas, bruxinhas, garotada e adultos que gostam dessa data mágica!

We're almost back from vacation,  and nothing better than opening the posts to celebrate Halloween, a  party that I love too much!

At this time of year many countries in the North Hemisphere  decorate their homes and yards with lighted pumpkins carved with figures of monsters, ghosts and witches. Children gain sweets, otherwise do mischief: tricks or treats?

In the Southern Hemisphere some places celebrate the date, and in Brazil Halloween starts getting popular too.

Does anyone know why lighted pumpkins? I'm really close here in Ireland, which is where the legend was born, so I'll tell you:

Long ago, in Ireland, there was a  stingy, grumpy and somehow evil man called Jack.

So bad he was that by the time of his death the Devil appeared to take him to hell.

Jack invited the Devil to have a drink with him before dying, as a last wish,  but to pay for the drinks Jack convinced the Devil to turn into a coin, the Devil agreed but once turned into currency Jack took the coin and put it in his pocket, along with a silver cross, and this prevented the Devil back to his original shape.

To release the Devil, Jack imposed the condition of staying alive for 1 more year and that by   the time of his death the Devil would not take his soul. The Devil agreed ...

A year has passed and there came the Devil again  to take Jack. As a last request, Jack asked him to climb a tree and catch a fruit for him, but once the Devil climbed, Jack carved a cross in the trunk of the tree, preventing the Devil down.

Again Jack blackmailed the Devil, making him promise to let Jack live for another 10 years ...the Devil agreed...

However, almost one year laterJack died!

Arriving in Heaven Jack was not accepted because when he was alive he was a very bad person.

So Jack went to hell, but the Devil  didn't accept him because he had promised not to take Jack's soul... and left Jack outside, wandering in limbo.

As the Devil was not so bad, he gave Jack a lump of coal to light the way.

Jack took a turnip, made ​​a hole in it and put the coal. And so Jack walks in darkness until the present day, lit only by a piece of coal!

In Ireland and Scotland, people began to tell their own version of Jack, carving turnips and potatoes with ugly and bizarre faces, putting them in doors and windows to scare away evil spirits. The same was done in England, with beets.

Then the immigrants who came to North America replaced the turnips and potatoes for pumpkins, which were much bigger and  in abundance at the land.

Did you  like the legend? Already knew it?

This year I could not celebrate Halloween the way I like, but the storefronts, streets and homes around the UK and Ireland are well decorated!

So, Happy Halloween to all little monsters, ghosts, witches, kids and adults who enjoy this magical date!
