Máscara de Carnaval (Carnival Mask)

Hoje é terça-feira de Carnaval!



Então? Muita animação? Bloco de rua ou Escola de samba? Os 2? 



Estou aqui no meu descanso, desenhando, pintando....



Ainda não mostrei os desenhos e pinturas que gosto de fazer, né?



Vou mostrar, e começando com este aí de cima; uma máscara carnavalesca, estilizada, mas ainda assim é uma máscara.



Gosto de misturar técnicas e materiais, mas nesse caso usei apenas canetas e lápis de cor.

Today is Tuesday of Carnival!



So, lots of animation? Street block or samba school? Both?



I'm here resting, drawing, painting ....



Did I ever show you  the drawings and paintings I like to do?



Let me start up with this one: a carnival mask, stylized, but it's still a mask.



I enjoy mixing techniques and materials, but in this case I just used pens and crayons.

Gente, amanhã já é sexta-feira de Carnaval! 

Carnaval 2013!

Para quem gosta é quase uma semana de diversão, suor e alegria!

E para quem prefere, durante esse período de festa também pode aproveitar para descansar bastante.

Claro que tem muita gente que trabalha durante o Carnaval mas de um modo geral é o momento em que mais uma vez muitos lugares no mundo se unem numa festa só!

Hoje é quinta, dia de mostrar fotos de viagem aqui no Estúdio mas como deve ter muita gente viajando vou deixar a postagem de hoje para a próxima semana, quando todo mundo volta ao ritmo normal de vida.

A foto acima é do Carnaval na Inglaterra, a foto não é minha, ela pertence ao blogmail.com.br e podemos ver que não é só aqui no Brasil que o bom humor e a sátira são usados para alegrar o povo que gosta de festejar.

Bom Carnaval para todos, divirtam-se e na próxima quinta a gente volta com a continuação da postagem sobre Versalhes e o Palácio do Sol.

Folks, tomorrow is Friday Carnival!

Carnival 2013!

Livro Copta Universitário (Book "Coptic University")

Esta é uma encomenda feita pela Marina, lá do sul. Ela queria um livro do mesmo tamanho do Lux University mas com mais folhas e com a costura Copta.

This is an order made ​​by  Marina who lives in the south of the country. She wanted a book of the same size as the book "Lux University"  but with more leaves and with Coptic stitching.

A costura Copta possibilita uma abertura de 360º, mas claro que ninguém precisa abrir um livro assim, não é? Praticamente juntando uma capa na outra.

The Coptic stitching allows an opening of 360º, but of course there's no need to open a book this way, isn't it? Virtually joining a cover on the other.

É que essa costura faz com que o livro fique aberto, bem plano, em cima da mesa e isso facilita bastante na hora de escrever.

With this seam the book stays open and plan on the table and this helps a lot while writing.

O livro mede 22cm de comprimento por 25,5cm de altura, com 2,5cm de espessura e pesa aproximadamente 850 gramas.

São 150 folhas (300 páginas) de papel Color Plus 120g/m²  na cor Marfim.

There are 150 sheets (300 pages) of  Color Plus paper, 120g / m²,  in Ivory color.

As capas são duras e ambas de tecido importado: a frontal tem um tecido lindo com fundo azul claro e cerejinhas; a capa posterior é em azul Royal.

The covers are tough and both covered with imported fabric: the front one has a beautiful fabric with light blue background and little cherries, the back cover is in Royal Blue.

A Marina estuda medicina e precisava de um livro com muitas folhas para anotar uma determinada matéria em um lugar só!
