The photo above is a courtyard, inside the Louvre Museum, with various sculptures.

Below, some of the sculptures, it is hard to say which is the most beautiful:

Claro que desci e fotografei todas! Devo ter tirado mais de 100 fotos só desse pátio, de cada detalhe das esculturas.

Of course I went down and photographed all of them! I have taken over 100 photos just of this courtyard, of every detail of the sculptures.

Salões bem grandes pra expor tantos quadros de diversos tamanhos.  Mas depois de umas 3 horas andando pelo museu já vem um pouco de cansaço....



Big salons to expose  so many paintings of various sizes. But after about 3 hours walking around the museum I'm  a little tired ....

Consegui uma boa foto, dá pra ver boa parte de uma das fachadas do museu.

Got a good photo, we can see a good part of one of the facades of the museum.

Aqui os turistas fazem fila pra tirar foto com a mão embaixo da pirâmide invertida:

O bom de fazer esses post é que revejo os lugares e lembro de tudo....mas o ruim é que me dá uma saudade!!

Carta Antiga (Old Letter)

Olá!

No post anterior eu disse que ia mostrar a carta que mando junto com o Livro das Sombras, pois aqui está.

Primeiro eu embrulho o Livro das Sombras em papel fino, delicadamente, como na foto acima. Depois, começo a escrever a carta.

A carta é escrita numa folha de papel envelhecida, a mesma que usei no livro. No começo dá sempre um friozinho mas depois que começo a escrita, vou deslizando a pena pelo papel, tentando não manchar e com cuidado pra que saia tudo certo.

In the previous post I said I would show the letter that I send along with the Book of Shadows, so here it is.

First I wrap the Book of Shadows on thin paper, gently, as pictured above. Then Istart writing the letter.

The letter is written on a sheet of aged paper, the same I used in the book. At the beginning I'm afraid to write but once I start writing, I slid off the paper, trying not to tarnish,I need to be careful.

Escrever com pena é difícil no começo, precisa de bastante prática pra não errar nem borrar o papel.

Writing with this kind of pen is difficult at first, needs a lot of practice because I don't want to make mistakes or smudge the paper.

Depois dobro o papel pra formar o envelope, pingo um pouco de cera...

Then I fold  the paper to form the envelope, drop some wax ...

Coloco o carimbo na cera ainda quente, pressiono por alguns instantes...

... put the stamp in the hot wax, briefly press ...

Retiro com cuidado e....voilá! Uma carta escrita à moda antiga, devidamente lacrada com cera!

Retreat carefully and .... voila! A letter written in the old way, duly sealed with wax!

E como é um Livro das Sombras carimbo um Pentagrama também!

And as it is  a Book of Shadows I stamp a Pentagram too!

Livro das Sombras pronto, carta pronta...agora falta o pacote, mas isso fica para o próximo post!
