(5) Livro das Sombras "Black Witch" (Book of Shadows "Black Witch")

Agora vem a parte de fazer o embrulho do Livro das Sombras e gosto de usar carimbos, tintas, selos.....

Now comes the part of making the wrapping of the Book of Shadows and I like using stamps, inks, stamps .....

Alguns carimbos eu comprei em Londres e outros são artesanais, feitos aqui no Estúdio Brigit.



Uma carta antiga também vai junto com o Livro, lacrada com cera como nos tempos antigos.

E assim, começo a fazer o embrulho.....

Coloco dentro da caixa, bem embalado e seguro...

E está pronto para ir diretamente ao futuro dono, que espera ansioso pelo seu Livro das Sombras.

Este livro é uma versão em preto do Work Book que fiz há pouco tempo atrás. Também é uma encomenda para uma pessoa de Aracaju.

This book is a black version of the Work Book I made awhile ago. It is also an order for a person from Aracaju.

As capas são em courino (couro artificial) preto.

Mede 22cm de comprimento por 25,5cm de altura, com 2,8cm de espessura e pesa aproximadamente 820 gramas. 

The covers are in black courino (artificial leather).

Measuring 22cm x 25.5 cm, with 2.8 cm thick and weighs about 820 grams.

O fechamento é na lateral com um cadeado preto.

It has a black padlock on the side.

Desenhei e pintei flores em toda a lateral do livro.

I drew and painted flowers across the side of the book.

A costura é Copta com linha encerada preta e detalhe em costura cruzada.

The stitching is Coptic with black waxed thread and also a cross stitch detail.

O miolo é com papel offset 120g/m²,  na cor branca. Possui 130 folhas, ou seja, 260 páginas.

Como a costura é Copta o livro abre bem plano.

The sheets are in offset paper, 120g / m²,  white color. It has 130 sheets, or 260 pages.

As the seam is Coptic the book opens well plan.

As capas são forradas com papel Color Plus preto, 120g/m².

The covers are lined with Color Plus black paper, 120g / m².

O livro já chegou na casa da dona, será que ela gostou? Acho que sim!

A Viagem (20): Londres (London - The Trip)

Olá!

Em Paris, fomos para a estação de trem Gare du Nord pegar o trem EuroStar para Londres. 

O EuroStar é aquele trem que passa por um túnel no Canal da Mancha...confesso que a ideia de viajar praticamente dentro do mar não era atrativa, mas a viajem foi ótima!

O trem é confortável, tem vagão restaurante mas não tem serviço de malas, ou seja, cada um tem que levar a sua e enfia-la no compartimento para malas que há em cada vagão!

A velocidade do trem é de cerca de 170km/h, então 2h40min depois estávamos na estação Saint Pancras, em Londres, é a foto com o relógio e o casal (acima).

Pegamos um táxi e fomos direto para o apartamento que alugamos em Kensington, na Prince of Wales Terrace, bem em frente ao Hyde Park.

In Paris, we went to the train station Gare du Nord to catch the  EuroStar train to London.

The EuroStar train  is the one passing through a tunnel in the English Channel ... I reckoned that the idea of traveling almost into the sea was not attractive, but the trip was great!

The train is comfortable, has a dining wagon but has no service pack, so each one has to take his own bags and shove them in the compartment for bags that are in each wagon!

The train speed is about 170km / h, then 2h40min later we were in Saint Pancras station, in London, it is the photo with the clock and the couple (above).

We took a cab and went straight to the apartment we rented in Kensington, in Prince of Wales Terrace, almost in front of Hyde Park.

De taxi fomos até Trafalgar Square  andar um pouco pelas ruas....

Bem em frente a Trafalgar Square fica o National Gallery, museu com obras de arte de vários artistas famosos.....mas é preciso um dia inteiro para ver direito o museu.

Right in front of Trafalgar Square is the National Gallery, a museum with works of art by various famous artists ..... but it takes a whole day to see the museum .

Como o dia já estava acabando, resolvemos ver de perto o Parlamento Inglês:

Londres é uma cidade magnífica, cidade que eu adoro...é difícil olhar essas fotos......
