Marie Tussauds era francesa e trabalhou como governanta na casa do médico Philippe Curtius onde aprendeu com ele a arte de modelar partes do corpo humano com cera.

Marie Tussauds was French and worked as a governess in the house of the doctor Philippe Curtius where she learned the art of modeling parts of the human body with wax.

Este cômodo mostra um pouco de como vivia Madame Tussauds já na época em que fazia seus famosos bonecos de cera.

This room shows a little of how Madame Tussauds has lived at the time she made ​​her famous waxworks.

Enfim, o museu é lotado de bonecos de cera que retratam  personagens ilustres e famosos que conhecemos através da História e também de pessoas que ainda estão vivas; são artistas, atletas, políticos, personagens de ficção....um mundo amplo mas viso sob uma ótica bem particular: O Museu de Cera de Madame Tussauds!

Anyway, the museum is filled with wax figures depicting  illustrious and famous characters we know throughout history, as well as people who are still alive; they are artists, athletes, politicians, fictional characters ....  a world wide vision under a  particular optics: The Wax Museum of Madame Tussauds!

Livro 2 em 1 (2 in 1 book) A

Começo hoje uma série com 3 livros, todos com as mesmas medidas, que serão usados por uma universitária.

Ela sugeriu que o livro tivesse 2 capas principais porque vai dividi-lo em 2 matérias, ou seja, tanto a capa da frente quanto a capa de trás abrem o livro que é escrito a partir das duas.

 Então, de um lado o livro é aberto e começa uma matéria, depois coloca-se o livro de cabeça pra baixo, e abre-se pela outra capa começando uma segunda matéria, por isso ele é 2 em 1: um livro e duas matérias!

Today I'm starting a series of 3 books, all with the same measures that will be used by a university girl.

She suggested that the book had two main covers because she will divide it into two subjects.

  So, on  one hand the book is opened and starts a subject, then just put the book upside down, and opens up another layer by starting a second subject, so it's 2 in 1: one book with 2 subjects.

Este primeiro livro tem as capas com tecidos em motivos florais em tons de azul e a lombada é com tecido holandês Azul Royal. 

This first book has the covers with fabrics in floral motifs in shades of blue,  and the spine is with Dutch Woven Royal Blue.

O miolo é com papel Offset 120g/m², branco. Possui 100 folhas, ou seja, 200 páginas.

A Folha de Guarda é em papel Color Plus 120g/m², na cor azul.

The core is in  Offset paper 120g / m², white. It has 100 sheets, 200 pages.
The Guard Sheet is Color Plus 120g / m², blue. 

Mede 22cm de comprimento por 25,5cm de altura, com 2,5cm de espessura e pesa aproximadamente 780 gramas.

Measures 22cm long by 25.5 cm high, 2.5 cm thick and weighs approximately 780 grams.

Continuando no  Museu de cera de Madame Tussauds, não poderia faltar o super astro pop Michael Jackson, em tamanho natural como todos os outros bonecos.



A família real também não escapou, e ficaram perfeitos! Uma chance de ficar "perto" da Duquesa Kate Middleton, acho que ela usa roupas maravilhosas, muito bom gosto.

Continuing in the wax museum of Madame Tussauds, could not miss the pop superstar Michael Jackson in actual size as all the other dolls.



The royal family are here too, and they're perfect! A chance to get "close" to Duchess Kate Middleton, I think she always wears wonderful clothes, very elegant.

O museu não é muito grande mas tem muitos personagens interessantes, famosos....é muito bom andar no meio deles, fotografar, parecem de verdade!

The museum is not so big but has many interesting characters, famous .... it is very good to walk among them, photographing, they seem real!
