Envelopes Natalinos! (Christmas envelopes!)

A melhor época do ano está chegando, o Natal, e com ele todos os preparativos que envolvem carinho e atenção com quem amamos.

Mesmo que seja uma pequena lembrança é bom ver o sorriso no rosto de alguém.

The best time of year is coming, Christmas, and with it all the preparations that involve affection and attention with those we love.

Estes envelopes são de papel Color Plus 120g/m² por fora e revestidos com 5 tipos diferentes de tecidos natalinos. Ótimos para escrever mensagens, colocar pequenos pre$ente$, dar junto com algum pacote lindo e até enviar pelo Correio pra alguém que está longe mas que não foi esquecido.

No Estúdio Brigit estão à venda em 2 conjuntos diferentes, cada conjunto com 5 envelopes diferentes também.

These envelopes are made with Color Plus 120g / m² paper on the outside and lined with 5 different types of Christmas tissues. Great for writing messages, place small presentes (like money!), along with giving some gorgeous package or even to send by mail to someone far away but not forgotten.

In Estúdio Brigit they are for sale in two different sets, each set with 5 different envelopes too.

Junto com cada envelope acompanha um cartão em papel Color Plus 120g/m², cores variadas, pra você escrever sua mensagem natalina.

Cada uma das 5 estampas do tecido pode ser com envelope verde ou vermelho. Cada envelope mede aproximadamente 12cm x 8,5cm.

Livro das Sombras "Black Sky" (Book of Shadows)(1)

Olá!

Este é o Livro das Sombras "Black Sky", uma encomenda de uma pessoa que queria um livro com cadeado e folhas envelhecidas.

Quando faço livros com folhas envelhecidas dou um prazo de entrega maior pois as folhas são envelhecidas à mão, uma a uma, ao menos 2 vezes de cada lado, então é um processo um pouco demorado.

Vocês já viram o vídeo onde eu mostro como envelheço as folhas? Está no YouTube.

This is the Book of Shadows "Black Sky", an order for a person who wanted a book with lock and aged leaves.

When I make books with aged leaves I give a longer delivery time  because the leaves are aged by hand, one by one, at least 2 times on each side, so it is a rather time consuming process.

O livro tem a capa posterior, a lombada e também uma capa mole que cobre a capa frontal, em courino preto. A capa frontal é em tecido preto holandês.



Mede 20cm de base x 29cm de comprimento e tem 200 folhas envelhecidas.



The book has the back cover, the spine, and also a soft cover that covers the front cover in black courino. The front cover is in black fabric Dutch.



It measures 20cm base x 290cm length and has 200 aged leaves.

Na capa da frente fiz uma Triqueta em alto relevo.

On the front cover I did an  embossed triqueta.

 A Folha de Guarda é preta, e na foto abaixo podemos ver o livro todo aberto.

The end papers are black, and in the photo below you can see the entire opened book.

O revestimento interno das capas é com papel antigo.

The inner lining of the covers is with old paper.

São 2 marcadores de páginas com fita de cetim e cordão pretos, ambos com pingente de coruja e Pentagrama.

There are 2 bookmarks with black satin ribbon and drawstring, both with owl and pentagram pendant.

O livro já está montado, colado e costurado, agora vem a parte de envelhecimento que mostrarei no próximo post.

A Viagem (35): Londres (London - The Trip)

Hoje vou mostrar algumas fotos da Tower Clock, onde está o relógio mais bonito do mundo!



A quantidade de pessoas com máquinas na mão, tirando fotos e olhando pra cima é surpreendente, parece que todo mundo fica hipnotizado quando vê o relógio, que funciona!

Today I will show you some pictures of the Clock Tower, which is the world's most beautiful clock!



The amount of people with machines in hand, taking pictures and looking up is amazing, it seems like everyone is mesmerized when sees the clock, and it works!

A Tower Clock pertence ao Palácio de Westminster (Parlamento Inglês) e é mais popularmente conhecida apenas como Big Ben, mas Big Ben na verdade é o nome do sino que o Ministro Sir Benjamin Hall mandou colocar na torre, em 1859, e o nome Big Ben é uma homenagem ao ministro.

The Clock Tower belongs to the Palace of Westminster (the British Parliament) and is more popularly known only as Big Ben, but Big Ben is actually the name of the bell that 

Minister Sir Benjamin Hall had put in  the tower in 1859, and the name Big Ben is a tribute to the Minister.

O relógio é pontual e também pode ser ouvido em algumas datas comemorativas, seja como for, é um edifício magnífico!



The clock is punctual and can also be heard on some special dates, anyway, it is a magnificent building!

Ao lado do Big Ben está o Rio Tâmisa com muitas embarcações tanto para turistas quanto cargueiras e outras.

Beside the Big Ben is the River Thames with many vessels for both tourists and  freighters.

Por volta do ano 1850, o rio ganhou o triste apelido de "Grande Fedor", estava morto,  mas muito tem sido feito para recupera-lo; algumas vezes com sucesso, outras nem tanto, e o fato é que como atravessa áreas urbanas acaba sendo depósito de lixo apesar de toda a luta de ambientalistas e ativistas para preservar a vida marinha e a de outros animais que vivem e se alimentam do rio.

Do outro lado podemos ver a enorme roda gigante London Eye.....se andei nela? Claro que andei! É muitíssimo alta e roda bem devagar então não dá pra ter medo.



A London Eye também é conhecida como  a Roda do Milênio pois foi feita para comemorar a virada do ano 2000.

Ela tem 32 cabines e pode receber até 15 mil visitantes por dia,  uma volta completa dura cerca  de 30 minutos e pode ser em grande estilo: com champagne, vinho e canapés em cabine privada. Mas também há ingressos com preços mais acessíveis apenas para quem quer contemplar a vista da cidade sem tanto rapapé!



On the other side of the river we can see the huge London Eye ferris wheel .... if I had a ride? Sure! It is extremely high but runs very slowly so I was not afraid.



The London Eye is also known as the Millennium Wheel as it was made ​​to celebrate the new year 2000.



She has 32 cabins and can accommodate up to 15,000 visitors per day, one complete revolution takes about 30 minutes and can be in high style with champagne, wine and canapes in private cabin. But there are also  more affordable tickets for those who just want to enjoy the view of the city without much luxury!
