Agora que o Carnaval passou, o ano começa de verdade. Neste ano o Carnaval veio tarde, em Março e fiquei ausente até hoje pra poder descansar um pouco mais.
Parece que o ano só começa mesmo quando acaba o Carnaval, e antes desse recomeço ir à cidade comprar material aqui pro estúdio é extremamente cansativo pois as ruas ficam cheias de gente comprando material pra fazer as fantasias.
Isso, fora o calor! Que calor foi aquele de Janeiro e Fevereiro?? Minha nossa, era sair à rua e ter a impressão de estar fritando sob o sol! Teve um dia onde a sensação térmica aqui no Rio de Janeiro foi de 57ºC!
Bom, agora que estou de volta com toda a força e com saudades de vocês, saudades de fazer meus posts, de fazer livros e mais livros, vamos começar 2014!
E vamos começar com um vídeo, que na verdade é um bate papo, onde eu falo um pouco sobre o número de folhas que um livro pode ter ou que não deve ter. Recebo muitos e-mails pedindo livros (especialmente os antigos) com 500 folhas, 700 folhas...até pedidos de livros com 1000 folhas eu já recebi.
Mas será que um livro assim tão grande (e pesado) e tão frágil é bom?
Aqui está o vídeo, parece um pouco embaçado....não sou boa em tirar fotos e fazendo vídeos sou ainda pior mas.....tomara que gostem.

Now that Carnival is over the year really starts . This year the Carnival came late, in March, and I was absent until today to relax a little more .
It seems that the year starts only even when the carnival ends , and going to town to buy stuff for the studio is extremely tiring because the streets are crowded with people buying stuff to make the costumes.
And the heat ! What was that heat in January and February ? My goodness , we were all frying under the sun ! There was a day where it seemed to be 57ºC here in Rio de Janeiro !
Well, now I'm back with full force... oh how I miss all of you , miss my posts , miss making books and more books , let's start 2014 !
And let's start with a video that is actually a chat, where I talk a bit about the number of sheets that a book can have or should not have. I always receive many emails asking for books ( especially older ) with 500 sheets , 700 sheets ... even requests for books with 1000 sheets I have ever received .
But will a book so big ( and heavy) and so fragile be good ?
