Sketchbook Medieval - Long Run

Olá!

Este é um sketchbook em estilo antigo, medieval, não envelhecido e ótimo para escrever ou desenhar porque tem uma abertura ampla graças à costura longstitch.

Hello! 

This is a sketchbook in ancient and medieval style, unaged, and great for writing or drawing  because it has a great opening thanks to sewing longstitch. 

O fechamento é feito por amarração e a capa cobre totalmente o livro. 

O marcador de páginas é trançado com pingente de miçanga.

The closure is made by lashing and the cover completely embraces the book. 



The bookmark is braided with beads pendant. 

A capa é toda em courino preto, com costura em linha encerada preta também.

Mede 16cm x 25cm com peso aproximado de 400 gramas, e possui 100 folhas (200 páginas) em papel Reciclato 120g/m².

The cover is all in black artificial leather with black waxed thread stitching. 



It measures 16cm x 25cm weighing approximately 400 grams, and has 100 sheets (200 pages) of Reciclato paper,120g / m².

Adoro fazer livros medievais, parece que vivi naquela época!

I love making medieval books, it seems that I have lived back then!

Estamos no Outono, mês de chuvas, e que tal gotas coloridas e um dia de picnic? Acho que não faço picnic desde criança, será que alguém ainda faz picnic hoje em dia? Eu gosto!

Hello! 

 We are in Autumn, in a rainny month, and what about  colored drops and a picnic day? My last picnic was when I was a child, does anyone still make picnic today? I like picnics!

E picnic sem geléia não é picnic,  e sem formigas também não é picnic, nada melhor para atrair formigas do que uma boa geléia de morango.

And a picnic with no jelly is not a picnic, and without ants is not a picnic as well, so there's nothing better to attract ants than a good strawberry jam.

Ah, e um guarda-chuva também, só pra prevenir....

A Viagem (47): A Torre de Londres- (The Trip: The Tower of London)

Olá!

Finalmente chegamos ao Palácio Real e Fortaleza de Sua Majestade A Torre de Londres, mais conhecida por Torre de Londres, ou simplesmente "A Torre".

Do lado de fora já dá para perceber que boa parte da História Britânica aconteceu dentro daquelas muralhas.

Finally we reached the Royal Palace and Fortress of Her Majesty's Tower of London, more commonly known as the Tower of London, or simply "The Tower". 

From the outside we can already see that much of British history happened within those walls.

Achei muito interessante essa catapulta de madeira da foto acima, eu nunca tinha visto uma.

Lá dentro, logo na entrada, há uma multidão de turistas se acotovelando e tirando fotos de tudo.

I found very interesting that wooden catapult in the  photo above, I had never seen one. 



Inside, at the entrance, there is a crowd of tourists jostling each other and taking pictures of everything.

Somos recepcionados por um personagem que nos conta boa parte da história da Torre, famosa por seus prisioneiros também famosos e pela execução de 3 rainhas inglesas.

We are greeted by a character who tells much of the story of the Tower, also famous for its famous prisoners and the execution of three British queens.

Talvez por ser um local de execução, A Torre tenha recebido o nome de Torre Sangrenta, como mostra a placa abaixo.

Perhaps because it is a place of execution, the Tower has been named the Bloody Tower, as shown in plate below.

A construção é forte, gigantesca e acho que para fugir dali devia ser impossível, só com a ajuda de alguém ou com o perdão do Rei.

The construction is strong, gigantic and I'm quite sure that to flee from that place should be impossible, only with the help of someone or pardon of the King.

Mas A Torre de Londres não era apenas uma prisão, ela também servia de residência a monarcas e de fortaleza militar porque está situada num ponto estratégico adjacente ao Rio Tamisa e à Ponte da Torre.

But the Tower of London was not just a prison, it also served as the residence of monarchs and military stronghold because it is located in a strategic point adjacent to the River Thames and Tower Bridge.
