Dia de Corpus Christi! (Corpus Christi Day!)

Olá!



Hoje é Dia de Corpus Christi que em latim significa Corpo de Deus.



É uma festa católica que celebra a presença do corpo e sangue de Cristo sendo um dos sacramentos da Eucaristia. 



É comemorado sempre em uma sexta-feira, dia em que Jesus foi cruxificado. Na quinta-feira anterior Jesus reuniu seus apóstolos para a Última Ceia repartindo o pão e o vinho que, segundo os católicos, é o alimento espiritual da alma.

 Após 3 dias Jesus ressuscitou e assim se comemora o domingo de Páscoa.

Today is  Corpus Christi Day  which in Latin means Corpus Christi.



It is a Catholic festival that celebrates the presence of the body and blood of Christ, being one of the sacraments of the Eucharist.



It is always celebrated on a Friday, the day Jesus was crucified. In the previous Thursday Jesus gathered his disciples for the Last Supper dividing bread and wine which, according to Catholics, is the spiritual food of the soul.

After three days Jesus rose and so people celebrate Easter, on Sunday.

Sabe aquela porta onde as cobras se mexiam, no segundo filme de Harry Potter? É essa porta da foto acima; é uma porta grande e dá a impressão de ser mesmo de ferro. Será?

Remember the door where the snakes were moving in the second Harry Potter movie? The door is this one on the photo above; is a large door and gives the impression of being  iron maden. 

 E falando em portas, a da foto acima é do banco de Gringotts; também é grande e aparentemente feita de ferro.

Na foto abaixo está a moto do Prof Alastor Moody e o fundo verde é que possibilita os efeitos especiais dando a impressão que ela voa.

Speaking of doors, the one in the photo above is of Gringotts Bank; it is also large and seemingly made of iron.

Below is  Prof Alastor Moody's bike and the green background  enables special effects giving the impression that it flies.

Esta é parte de uma das escadas móveis do Castelo de Hogwarts, claro que todo o cenário é envolvido em efeitos especiais.

This is part of one of the moving stairs of Hogwarts Castle, of course the whole scenario is involved in special effects.

E esta é a mala do Prof Lupin, que arruma todas as roupas e objetos sozinha, por mágica. Quero uma dessas também!

And this is Professor Lupin's case, it gets all the clothes and objects alone, by magic. I need one of these too!
