Segunda-feira, dia de viajar e conhecer lugares novos e hoje continuamos em St Andrews, cidade pequena mas linda, aconchegante e cheia de histórias medievais.

E as casas? Um sonho!

Monday, a day to travel and visit new places and today we continue in St Andrews, a small but beautiful town, cozy and full of medieval stories.

And the houses? A dream!

Na cidade há também um campo de golf oficial, onde são realizados torneios nacionais e internacionais. Aliás, os ingleses são também conhecidos por gostarem de praticar esse esporte.

In the city there is also an official golf course, where national and international tournaments are held. In fact, the English are also known to enjoy practicing this sport.

Abaixo está um dos primeiros postos de coleta de cartas dos Correios, bem antigo, e a cidade tem orgulho em preservar.

Below is one of the earliest Post Office, a very old one, and the city is proud to preserve it.

Apesar de estarmos cercados de coisas antigas, o novo também tem lugar como podemos ver nesta ponte.

Although we are surrounded by old things, the new one also takes place as we can see in this bridge.

Você precisa de um pincel com reservatório de água, 1 gota de goma arábica e um pouco de Medium Iridescente daqueles usados em aquarela, e pronto!

With it you give shine to drawings, paintings and leaves everything more beautiful, more outstanding! And in the Art Journal wow .... it looks amazing!



You need a brush with water reservoir, 1 drop of gum arabic and a little bit of Iridescent Medium from those used in watercolor, and that's it!

Como fazer Cartela de Cores em Aquarela - #1 (How to Make Watercolor Color Chart) - VIDEO

Vamos aprender a misturar tintas para obter novas cores? Pra isso o melhor é fazer uma Cartela de Cores como essa que mostro no vídeo.



A mistura de tintas também causa surpresa com alguns resultados, por exemplo, quem diria que misturando amarelo limão com roxo pode resultar em uma cor marrom?



Muitas pessoas tem dúvida na hora de pintar porque não sabem misturar as tintas para obter outras cores ou matizes, então, um simples estojo com 12 cores quando misturadas pode resultar em no mínimo 144 outras cores, tons, matizes.

Pra fazer a cartela do vídeo eu usei aquarela mas você também pode fazer com tinta acrílica, guache e até tinta a óleo (pinte sobre tela). É um ótimo aprendizado!



Usei um estojo de 12 cores da Winsor&Newton, com as seguintes cores:

I used a 12-color box from Winsor & Newton in the following colors:

- Lemon Yellow Hue;

- Cadmium Yellow Hue;

- Cadmium Red Pale;

- Alizarin Crimson Hue;

- Ultramarine;

- Phtalo Blue;

- Viridian Hue;

- Sap Green;

- Yellow Ochre;

- Burnt Siena;

- Burnt Umber;

- Chinese White.

Let's learn how to mix paints to get new colors? The best to learn is making a Color Chart like the one I show in the video.



Mixing paints is also surprising with some results, for example, who would say that mixing lemon yellow with purple can result in a brown color?



Many people are hesitant to paint because they do not know how to mix the paints to get other colors or shades, so a simple case with 12 colors when mixed can result in at least 144 other colors and  shades.



To make the chart I used watercolor but you can also do it with acrylic paint, gouache and even oil paint (paint on canvas). It's a great learning experience!
