Ter um Sketchbook em que podemos confiar é um dos sonhos de qualquer artista. Este é um Sketchbook pra Desenho & Pintura, em formato paisagem, um pouco maior que o anterior, mede 21,5 cm de base x 16 cm de altura e as folhas são ótimas pra desenhar e pintar com aquarela e com guache desde que não muito aguados, além de lápis de cor, canetas, caneta tinteiro, hidrocor, etc... sabe por quê? Porque a gramatura é alta: 180g/m², então além de desenhar você pode usar várias técnicas de pintura nele!

Having a Sketchbook that we can trust is one of the dreams of any artist. This is a Sketchbook for Drawing & Painting, in landscape format, a little larger than the previous one, measures 21.5 cm in base x 16 cm in height and the sheets are great for drawing and painting with watercolor and Gouache since not too watery, in addition to crayons, pens, ink pen, hydrocor, etc ... know why? Because the weight is high: 180g / m², so besides drawing you can use various painting techniques on it!

 As capas são forradas com tecido e o fechamento do livro é feito com elástico.

The covers are lined with fabric and the book closure is made with elastic.

A costura é Copta e isso permite uma abertura plana de 180º, facilitando na hora de desenhar e pintar as  48 folhas (96 páginas) de papel offset branco, 180g/m². Esse era o livro que eu queria ter e como fiz alguns pra mim, fiz pra vocês também!

The stitching is Coptic and this allows a flat opening of 180º, making it easy to draw and paint the 48 sheets (96 pages) of white offset paper, 180g / m². This was the book I wanted to have and as I made some for myself, I made it for you too!

Preparando estojos de aquarela/guache antes de usar (Preparing watercolor/gouache boxes before using) - VIDEO

Olá!



Estojos de Aquarela e Guache são ótimos mas precisam ser preparados pra receber as tintas, você sabia? Tanto faz serem de plástico quanto de metal.



Isso porque as tintas escorregam demais, dificultando o trabalho, então podemos suavizar um pouco esse problema, e com o uso do estojo o problema desaparece.



Eu faço assim: salpico um pouco de bicarbonato de sódio em toda a parte do estojo que usamos pra misturar as tintas, normalmente é na parte branca dos estojos de metal, e nos estojos de plástico como normalmente são brancos por dentro e por fora, colocamos o bicarbonato no local de mistura das tintas que em quase todos os casos é a parte de dentro da tampa.



Adiciono gotas de água ou uso meu spray com água apenas pra umedecer ligeiramente e depois com as pontas dos dedos esfrego suavemente o bicarbonato por toda a superfície. Lavo o estojo e seco muito bem e está pronto pra ser usado!

Watercolor and Gouache boxes are great but need to be prepared to receive the paints, did you know? No matter if they are made of plastic or metal.

This is because the paints slip too much, making it difficult to work, so we can soften this problem a bit, and with the continuous use of the box the problem disappears.

I do this: I sprinkle some baking soda on every part of the box we use to mix the paints, it's usually in the white part of the metal boxes, and in the plastic boxes as they are usually white inside and out, we put the bicarbonate in the mixing area  which in almost all boxes is the inside part of the lid.

I add drops of water or use my spray with water only to slightly moisten the bicarbonate  and then with the tips of my fingers gently rub the paste all over the surface. I wash the box, dry it very well and it's ready to be used!

Olamores, hoje é dia de Aquarela e na de hoje vou desenhar e pintar este lindo carro que vi em uma cidadezinha no interior da Escócia.

Posso dizer que isso é um tipo de "desenho urbano" ou "urban sketch" como chamamos lá fora e funciona assim: a gente vai pra rua levando um sketchbook (aliás, você já viu os que estão na loja do estúdio? Lindos!), material de desenho e pintura, escolhe um lugar, um objeto, uma paisagem, qualquer coisa mesmo e faz a arte no local. Claro que nem sempre isso é possível por isso eu tiro muitas fotos e quando chego em casa passo pro meu sketchbook.

O post referente a este carro é o da última segunda-feira, é um post de viagem que temos todas as segundas aqui no blog (dê uma olhadinha lá) e talvez eu continue  a desenhar a partir de minhas fotos e posts de viagem e coloque aqui.

Material que usei:

- tintas aquarela Winsor & Newton nas cores: Cadmium Red, Ultramarine e Payne's Gray;

- guache branco, Talens;

- 2 potes com água limpa;

- toalha;

- pincel com reservatório tamanho Médio, da Sakura;

- Sketchbook do Estúdio Brigit;

- lapiseira 0,5;

- borracha;

- caneta permanente preta, Mitsubishi.

- caneta permanente preta, 0,05 da Sakura.

Convido você a fazer o mesmo: pegue um sketchbook e torne-o seu amigo inseparável, leve-o pra todos os lugares junto com lápis, borracha e material de pintura, e vá registrando nele as coisas interessantes que você vê pelas ruas.

Hi, dears, today is Watercolor day and  I am going to draw and paint this beautiful car that I saw in a small town in the interior of Scotland.

I can say that this is a kind of  "urban sketch" as we call it in other countries and it works like this: we go to the streets carrying a sketchbook (by the way, have you seen those in the studio's shop? ), drawing and painting material, choose a place, an object, a landscape, anything  and make the art on the spot. Of course this is not always possible so I take lots of pictures and when I get home I step to my sketchbook.

The post referring to this car is last Monday's post, it's a travel post that we have every Monday here on the blog (take a look there) and maybe I will continue to draw from my photos and travel posts and place them here.

Material I have used:

- Winsor & Newton watercolor inks: Cadmium Red, Ultramarine and Payne's Gray;

- white gouache, Talens;

- 2 pots with clean water;

- towel;

- medium size brush with reservoir, from Sakura;

- Sketchbook from Estúdio Brigit;

- mechanic pencil 0,5;

- eraser;

- Black permanent pen, 0,3 Mitsubishi.

- black permanent pen, 0.05 from Sakura.

I invite you to do the same: take a sketchbook and make it your inseparable friend, take it everywhere with pencil, eraser and paint material, go and record the interesting things you see on the streets.
