Flores de Primavera - Aquarela #13 (Spring Flowers - Watercolor # 13) - VIDEO

Bem, bem, a Primavera chegou e com ela as flores e a Natureza como um todo renovam a vida, brotam em cores e perfumes!

Eu gosto da Primavera, embora ela seja uma espécie de "preparação" pro Verão (e aqui o Verão é um caldeirão de água fervente) gosto de ver a mudança quase brusca do Inverno pra Primavera. Não vou falar do Inverno (adoro!), prometo!

E pra comemorar mais uma Primavera no Hemisfério Sul vamos fazer uma aquarela com flores, bem soltinha? É isso mesmo, você também pode fazer sim, é fácil e fiz o vídeo abaixo em tempo real justamente pra você poder acompanhar e fazer junto comigo.

Well, well, Spring has come and with it the flowers and Nature as a whole renew life, sprout in colors and perfumes!

I like Spring, although it is a kind of "preparation" for the Summer (and here Summer is a cauldron of boiling water) I like to see the change almost abrupt from Winter to Spring. I will not talk about Winter (I love it!), I promise!

And to celebrate another Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, let's make a watercolor with flowers, a loose one? That's right, you can also paint it, it's easy and I made the video below in real time  so you can follow up and do it with me.

Demorei cerca de 25 a 30 minutos, no máximo, pra pintar. Preparei as aguadas antes, em quantidade boa pra que não faltasse e eu tivesse que preparar mais durante a pintura.

Essa é uma distração que muitas vezes acontece: fazer pouca tinta e ter que fazer mais depois. Nem sempre conseguimos fazer os mesmos tons, além disso, enquanto estamos refazendo a tinta, a que pintamos fica seca e assim perdemos a chance de fazer alguns efeitos na pintura.

It took me about 25-30 minutes at most to paint. I prepared the waterworks washes before, in good quantity so that it would not be lacking and I had to prepare more during the painting.

This is a distraction that often happens: to get a little paint and have to do more later. We can not always do the same tones, and while we are reworking the paint, the paint on the paper becomes dry and we miss the chance to do some painting effects.

Vamos ver o material que usei: 

- papel Markatto bianco, 250g/m²: esse papel é o mesmo de alguns Sketchbooks pra Aquarela que estão á venda na loja do Estúdio Brigit;

- pincel LOEW-CORNELL 7930 Flora nº10 (pincel língua de gato);

- 2 recipientes com água limpa;

- toalha pequena;

- fita crepe;

- pedaço de papelão para servir de base;

- aquarela nas cores:  

* Phtalo Green e Turquoise da Winsor&Newton; 

* Quinacridone Rose, Sepia, Mader Lake Deep, Olive Green, da Van Gogh; 

* Purple Blue e Leaf Green da Sakura.

 Let's see the material I used:

- LOEW-CORNELL 7930 brush Flora nº10 (Cat's tongue brush);

- Markatto bianco paper, 250g / m²: this paper is the same as some Sketchbooks for Watercolor that are for sale in the Estudio Brigit' store;

- 2 containers with clean water;

- small towel;

- crepe tape;

- piece of cardboard to serve as a base;

- watercolor:

* Phtalo Green and Turquoise by Winsor & Newton;

* Quinacridone Rose, Sepia, Mader Lake Deep, Olive Green by Van Gogh;

* Purple Blue, Leaf Green by Sakura.

Outro Livro Medieval Tieknot mas desta vez em formato paisagem, ou seja,  deitado, do jeito que boa parte dos artistas gostam. (Video abaixo)

Another Medieval Book "Tieknot" but this time in landscape format, that is, lying down, the format most of the artists prefer.

Escrever, desenhar e pintar em um Livro Medieval, ou Sketchbook Medieval, é diferente, charmoso e único! Neste você pode usar marcadores, canetas e até gouache e aquarela não muito aguados.  Técnicas de pastel também ficam perfeitas nessas 42 folhas (84 páginas) de papel Reciclato com gramatura 120 e a costura longstitch permite uma abertura confortável na hora de desenhar e pintar.

Writing, drawing and painting in a Medieval Book, or Medieval Sketchbook, is different, charming and unique! In this one you can use markers, pens and even gouache and watercolor not too watery. Pastel techniques also look perfect on these 42 sheets (84 pages) of 120-gram Recycled paper, and the longstitch binding allows  a comfortable opening when drawing and painting.

É um livro com capa mole, em courinho preto e vinho,  medindo cerca de 16cm de base x 13cm de altura.

O fechamento é feito com cadarço e pesa apenas 180 gramas, ideal pra levar pra todos os lugares.

It is a book with soft cover, in black and white fake leather, measuring about 16cm of base x 13cm of height.

The closure is made with a shoelace and weighs only 180 grams, ideal to take to all places.

Acho que vou ficar com um deles pra mim! Bjus!

A Viagem (154): Castelo de Edinburgh (The Trip: Edinburgh Castle)

Gente, hoje tá difícil de escolher o que desenhar, gosto de todas as fotos e lembro do momento de cada uma delas.

Aliás, as fotos estão chegando ao fim, não sei ainda quantas postagens teremos mas sei que restam poucas fotos. 

Eu gosto de desenhar castelos, confesso que figuras humanas não são meu forte, nunca foram, mas por questão de preferência no que desenhar então acabo sempre escolhendo lugares, objetos ou animais.

Mas hoje, fiquei na dúvida, pode ser que ao longo da semana eu decida e faça o post do 'sketch'.

Guys, today  is difficult to choose what to draw as I like all the photos and I remember the moment of each one of them.

By the way, the photos are coming to an end, I do not know yet how many posts we will have but I know there are few photos left.

I like to draw castles, I confess that human figures are not my goal, they never were, but as a matter of preference in what to draw  I always end up choosing places, objects or animals.



But today, I am in doubt, it might be that throughout the week I decide and do the sketch post.

Entrar no castelo de Edinburgh é um acontecimento, uma viagem ao passado, a imaginação avança em grande escala e imagino pessoas, animais, cenários completos da época medieval e de como as coisas eram feitas: como se fazia comida em caldeirões e lareiras, como costuravam roupas e calçados, livros.......

Entering Edinburgh Castle is an event, a journey into the past, imagination advances on a grand scale and I imagine people, animals, complete sets of medieval times and how things were done: how food was made in cauldrons and fireplaces, how they sewed clothes and shoes, books .......

O castelo, por dentro, não é uma única edificação; existem ruas, pequenas casas antes habitadas por alguém importante, uma pequena igreja e algum tipo de comércio necessário aos habitantes do castelo. E claro, o castelo em si, onde reis, rainhas e seus súditos mais "necessários" viviam.

The castle, inside, is not a single building; there are streets, small houses once inhabited by someone important, a small church and some kind of commerce necessary to the inhabitants of the castle. And of course, the castle itself, where kings, queens and their most "needed" subjects lived.

Os brasões são outro capítulo á parte, cada família tinha o seu e eram motivo de honra e orgulho pra  cada uma: matava-se e morria-se por causa deles. Consigo entender isso. Era outra época, outros costumes, praticamente "outro mundo".

The coats of arms are another chapter apart, each family had their own and they were a source of honor and pride for each one: people killed and died because of them. I can understand that. It was another era, other customs, practically "another world".

 

Tenho visto a série Outlander,  que conta a história de uma enfermeira que viajou no tempo e foi pra Escócia medieval, na época das lutas pela independência contra a Inglaterra, sou fascinada pela História toda, pela Escócia. Se você não conhece essa série, procure no Netflix, vale muito e pena! Já postei fotos de um dos castelos usados na série, aliás, de vários lugares usados como cenário, inclusive Edinburgh onde a 3ª temporada está sendo gravada. Que sorte poder estar lá pra ver, não?

I have been watching the Outlander series, which tells the story of a nurse who traveled back in time  to medieval Scotland, at the time of the independence struggles against England, I am fascinated by the whole History of Scotland. If you do not know this series, look on Netflix, worth a lot! I have already posted photos of one of the castles used in the series, incidentally, from various places used as scenery, including Edinburgh where the third season is being recorded. How lucky to be there to see, isn't it?
