Sketchbook Criativo (Creative Sketchbook) - VIDEO

Ás vezes acontece de mostrar alguma página de algum sketchbook meu em vídeo e logo vem as mensagens: "Cris, mostra o sketchbook!", e faz um tempinho que isso acontece então aqui está o Sketchbook Criativo.

Os sketchbooks que uso mais são 3 mas normalmente eu tenho 6, 7 ou ás vezes 8 sketchbooks em uso, então eu separo um pouco o que vou desenhar neles, de acordo com meu objetivo.

Sometimes it happens to show some of my sketchbook's pages in video and soon comes the messages: "Cris, show all the sketchbook!", And it happens frequently, so here is the Creative Sketchbook.

The sketchbooks I use most are 3 but usually I have 6, 7 or sometimes 8 sketchbooks in use, so I sort of separate what I'm going to draw on them, according to my goal.

Por exemplo, este é o Sketchbook Criativo e nele eu desenho o que me vem á mente, sem compromisso de ser real, de ser perfeito, com o material que eu tiver á mão. Ás vezes escrevo, ás vezes não.

For example, this is the Creative Sketchbook and in it I draw what comes to my mind, without commitment to be real, to be perfect, with the material that I have at hand. Sometimes I write, sometimes I do not.

A maioria das pinturas deste sketchbook foi feita com aquarela. É um livro que eu fiz e que estava á venda na loja do estúdio, quando acaba eu faço mais e boto á venda, e numa dessas vezes peguei um pra mim. Gostei do formato comprido porque é bem prático pra caber em qualquer lugar e quando aberto ele fica num formato quadrado bem interessante pra desenhar e pintar.

 Most of the paintings in this sketchbook were made with watercolor. I made the sketchbook myself and there are some for sale in the studio' store, when it's over I make more and let for sale again, and in  one of those times I got one for me. I like the long format because it is very practical to fit anywhere and when opened it goes in a very interesting square format to draw and paint.

Também usei lápis de cor, caneta permanente, lápis comum, lápis de cor cintilante e canetas gel pra fazer alguns detalhes de alguns desenhos, ou seja, num sketchbook somos livres pra fazer o que quisermos.

Tenho poucos sketchbooks, um mistério aconteceu: em uma das minhas mudanças de casa coloquei todos eles dentro de uma caixa e a caixa sumiu! Claro, alguém pegou e não devolveu....deu uma tristeza porque eu tinha desenhos desde a época em que era adolescente.........mas, eu continuo fazendo e da próxima vez que mudar de casa eu mesma carrego a caixa com meus sketchbooks!

Então, ainda tenho mais alguns pra mostrar, não muitos, mas vou mostrando.

I also used colored pencils, permanent pens, regular pencils, sparkling colored pencils and gel pens to make some details of some drawings, so in a sketchbook, we are free to do whatever we want.

I have few sketchbooks, a mystery happened: in one of my house movings I have put them all inside a box and the box has disappeared! Of course, somebody picked it up and did not give it back ... it made me sad because I had drawings from the time I was a teenager ......... but, I keep doing them and next time I move  I will carry the box  myself  with my sketchbooks!

So I still have a few more to show, not many, but I'll show you.

Hoje o post é de "Momento Caixa", ou seja, ganhei presentes da Nair!



A Nair é uma amiga que segue o Estúdio Brigit e que também participa ativamente do canal do estúdio no YouTube. 



Recebi os presentes no sábado, 04 de novembro, e na verdade a frase deve ser: "Recebi o carinho e a amizade dela sob forma de presentes no sábado", porque foi isso que vi em cada um dos presentes, nos mimos feitos á mão que ela mesma faz e no cuidado que teve pra embalar cada um deles.

Today we have a "Moment Box" post, that is, I won Nair gifts!

Nair is a friend who follows  Estúdio Brigit  and who also actively participates in the studio's channel on YouTube.



I received the gifts on Saturday, November 4th, and in fact the phrase should be: "I received her affection and friendship in the form of gifts on Saturday," because that's what I saw in each of the presents  she made herself and the care she had to pack each one of them.

Vieram presentes de Natal lindos: um Papai Noel de porta mas que vou pendurar na minha sala, um anjinho rústico e 3 enfeites com estrelas que vão direto pra minha árvore natalina (depois eu mostro!). 

 Beautiful Christmas presents came in the box: a Santa Claus to hang on a door but I'll hang it somewhere in my living room, a rustic little angel and 3 ornaments with stars that are going straight to my Christmas Tree (I'll show you later!).

Tags!! Adoro tags! Eu escrevo tudo nelas: lembretes, anotações, senhas....tudo que se possa imaginar! Acho que minha vida é movida a tags!

Tags !! I love tags! I write everything in them: reminders, notes, passwords ... everything you can imagine! I think my life is tagged!

Um mini super lindo álbum com tags que posso usar pra colocar fotos, pra fazer anotações, pra escrever coisas que não posso esquecer nas tags, tudo nesse livro!

A super cute mini album with tags that I can use to put photos, to make notes, to write things that I can not forget in the tags, everything in this book!

Um anjinho em forma de boneca, coisa mais linda, compridinho, com os cabelos lindos, que também é pra pendurar em porta......está aqui no estúdio já, bem aqui do meu lado e vai ficar o ano todo.

 An angel in the form of a doll, so cute, long, with beautiful hair, which is also to hang on the door ...... It is here in the studio already, right here by my side and will stay the whole year.

E não podia falta uma corujinha, porque afinal, bruxa que é bruxa....oops, digo, artista que é artista adora receber corujinhas de presente! Amei essa, já está na minha mesa também!

And  a little owl, because after all, witch who is a witch .... oops, I say, artist who is an artist loves to receive gift owls! I loved that, it's already on my desk too!

Inktober 2017 - Acertos & Erros (Prons & Cons)

Qual é o balanço final do Inktober 2017 com o tema Halloween que eu escolhi? POSITIVO! Muito válido, show! 



Se eu colocar numa balança as coisas boas e as menos boas, a balança facilmente ficará mais pesada nas coisas boas!



O desafio original, proposto por seu criador Jake Parker em 2009, é fazer um desenho por dia durante o mês de outubro, sem rascunho, e postar na internet. Eu acrescentei fazer o desenho em apenas 20 minutos...esse era o MEU desafio pessoal. Quase consegui porque em 2 desenhos levei um pouco mais de 20 minutos, mas estou satisfeita!



Alguns amigos desenhistas me disseram: "Cris, em 20 minutos é loucura, pelo menos 1 hora!" mas fazer 1 hora de vídeo por dia e ter que editar depois também é um grande desafio então fiquei com os 20 minutos mesmo. Além disso eu tive outro motivo: sempre que faço meus desenhos na rua fico mais de 20 minutos desenhando porque quero colocar no papel todos os detalhes.....mas se eu limitar meu desenho em apenas 20 minutos serei obrigada a escolher os detalhes mais importantes, aqueles que caracterizam o desenho e deixar os outros de lado. Por isso escolhi 20 minutos.



Preciso falar também de qualidade do papel, e principalmente da gramatura 120 que me permitiu desenhos com caneta tinteiro e nanquim, sem passar pro outro lado do papel. O sketchbook que usei é do Estúdio Brigit, foi feito por mim, tem papel Reciclato e gramatura 120g/m².



Também quero dizer que na verdade eu estava 4 dias adiantada em desenhos. Sim, desenhei todos os dias, mas meu Inktober começou no fim de setembro e comecei antes porque se acontecesse alguma emergência que me impedisse de desenhar em algum dia, eu estaria adiantada e a continuidade dos vídeos não seria afetada.



Pra quem vê o Inktober, ou qualquer outro desafio - existem desafios de 365 desenhos fazendo 1 ano - é ingênuo, inocente assumir o compromisso de colocar vídeos todos os dias porque o trabalho é muito, nada fácil. Pode ser que ano que vem, caso eu participe, eu faça apenas 1 vídeo por semana mostrando os 7 desenhos da semana.



O Inktober me ensinou muito e fixou em mim algumas práticas que já faço diariamente: a ter mais foco, mais atenção, a pesquisar bastante antes de desenhar, a preparar o material que vou usar, a ter compromisso e disciplina, a pensar e elaborar o traço, a aproveitar os erros e tentar fazer com que sejam acertos, a largar a borracha, a ser mais criativa, a lidar com um tempo pré-determinado, e mais outras coisas que não sei dizer agora mas que com certeza existem.



Então, obrigada Jake, pelo desafio e pela ideia genial!

What is the final balance of Inktober 2017 with the Halloween theme I have chosen? POSITIVE! Very valid, show!

If I put good and less good things on a scale, the balance will easily get heavier in good things!

The original challenge, proposed by its creator Jake Parker in 2009, is to make a drawing a day during the month of October, without draft, and to post each one on the internet. I added 20 minutes drawing to the challenge ... that was MY personal challenge. I almost got it because in 2 drawings I took a little more than 20 minutes, but I'm happy!

Some friend designers told me: "Cris, in 20 minutes it's crazy, at least 1 hour!" but doing 1 hour of video per day and having to edit it later is also a big challenge so I got the 20 minutes. In addition I had another reason: whenever I make my drawings in the streets I take more than 20 minutes drawing because I want to put on the paper all the details ..... but if I limit my drawing in just 20 minutes I will be forced to choose the most important details, those that characterize  the drawing and leave others aside. That's why I chose 20 minutes.

I also need to talk about paper quality, and especially the 120 weight that allowed me to draw with  ink without going through the other side of the paper. The sketchbook I used was made by Estúdio Brigit, it was made by me, it has 120g / m² Recycled paper.

I also want to say that actually I was 4 days ahead in the drawings. Yes, I drew every day, but my Inktober started in late September and I started earlier because if there were any emergencies that would stop me from drawing someday, I would be advanced and the continuity of the videos would not be affected.

For those who see Inktober, or any other challenge - there are challenges of 365 drawings made at 1 year - it is naive, innocent to commit to putting videos every day because the work is very, very difficult.  It may happen that next year, if I choose to participate, I will only make one video a week showing the 7 drawings of the week.

Inktober taught me a lot and set me some practices that I already do daily: to have more focus, more attention, to research before drawing, to prepare the material that I will use, to have commitment and discipline, to think and elaborate the trait, to take advantage of mistakes and try to make them right, to drop the rubber, to be more creative, to deal with a predetermined time, and other things that I can not say now but certainly exist.

So thank you Jake, for the challenge and the cool idea!
