FELIZ PÁSCOA!!

Pra comemorar a Páscoa e também para atender pedidos, fiz esta Arte do Dia usando principalmente Gelatos.

Algumas pessoas pediram pra que eu mostrasse em vídeo algumas maneiras de usar Gelatos, porque a dúvida é se ele é igual aos crayons Distress Markers do Tim Holtz.

Eu não tenho esses crayons mas acredito que sejam parecidos porque ambos tem a consistência de batom e podem ser aplicados com os dedos, com pincel, com lenço de papel umedecido ou não, com esponja......e se errar é só limpar com um pouco de água e pronto! Então acho que são bem parecidos.

To celebrate Easter and also to fulfill requests, I made this Art Journal using mainly Gelatos.

Some people have asked me to show some ways to use Gelatos, because the question is whether it's the same as Tim Holtz's Distress Markers crayons, or not.

I do not have those crayons but I believe they work in the same way because both have the consistency of lipstick and can be applied with fingers, with a brush, with moistened tissue or not, with a sponge ...... and if we make a mistake we just clean it with a little water and we're done! So I think they look pretty good the same.

A arte de hoje tem coelhos, que cortei com faca Sizzix e também pintei com Gelatos. As cores que escolhi foram o azul, o rosa e o amarelo porque pra mim a Páscoa tem essas cores , coisa de criança feliz.

Today's art has rabbits, which I cut with Sizzix knife and also  painted with Gelatos. The colors I chose were blue, pink and yellow because for me Easter has these colors, a happy child thing.

Vamos ver o material que usei:



- sketchbook;

- transparência com coelhos;

- Modge Podge;

- pincel;

- lenço de papel comum;

- lenço de papel umedecido;

- Gelatos rosa, azul e amarelo;

- carimbo de coelho;

- carimbo de letras;

- carimbeira Archival Ink preta;

- placa de acrílico;

- papel vegetal para a carimbada espelhada;

- dobradeira ou espátula;

- fita banana;

- Folha de Teflon (Non-Stick Craft Sheet).

Outono, finalmente! (Parte 1) - Aquarela #22 (Autumn, finally! (Part 1) - Watercolor # 22) -VIDEO

AAHH, finalmente o Outono chegou pra ficar um pouco, pra suavizar o calor horrível que costuma fazer aqui no Rio!



E o bom de tudo é que depois do Outono vem o Inverno, a segunda estação do ano que mais gosto. Eu sei que aqui no Rio o Inverno é só um tempo fresco, agradável, não tem neve (infelizmente), mas já é um alívio ter dias mais suaves.



Gosto do Outono, gosto das cores do Outono onde predominam os marrons, laranjas, amarelos queimados, verdes vessi...é quando a Natureza se prepara para "dormir", descansar na estação seguinte.



Na aquarela de hoje fiz uma parte, e na próxima mostrarei a outra parte, as duas juntas formam a aquarela completa.



O material que usei foi:



- Bloco Canson XL Aquarelle, 300g/m²;

- fita crepe;

- 2 recipientes com água;

- toalha;

- lápis e borracha para desenhar;

- caneta permanente Sakura ou Mistubishi;

- pincéis: Raphael Kaerell nº12 redondo, Winsor&Newton nº2 redondo;

- aquarelas: Yellow Ochre, Sépia, Permanent Red Medium, Leaf Green, Olive Green, Permanent Yellow Deep.



Semana que vem: Outono, finalmente! (Parte 2) - Aquarela #23

AAHH, finally autumn has come to stay a little, to soften the horrible heat that usually is here in Rio!

And the best of all is that after the autumn comes the winter, the second season of the year that I trully like. I know that here in Rio the winter is just cool, nice weather, there is no snow (unfortunately), but it is already a relief to have milder days.

I like autumn, I like the colors of autumn where browns, oranges, burnt yellows, green vessi predominate ... it's when Nature prepares to "sleep", to rest in the next season.

In today's watercolor I did the first part, and next week I'll show the second part, both together form the full watercolor painting.

The material I used was:

- Canson XL Aquarelle Block, 300g / m²;

- tape;

- 2 containers with water;

- a small towel;

- pencil and eraser;

- Sakura or Mistubishi permanent pen;

- Brushes: Raphael Kaerell nº12 round, Winsor & Newton nº2 round;

- Watercolors: Yellow Ocher, Sepia, Permanent Red Medium, Green Leaf, Olive Green, Permanent Yellow Deep.

Olá!

Hoje o vídeo e o post é pra atender pedidos, ou melhor, perguntas: "Cris, faz vídeo mostrando onde comprar material de arte aqui no Rio?"

Já tem tempo que as pessoas me pedem isso, então no fim de semana passado comecei minhas visitas a algumas lojas.

Claro que não conseguirei ir em todas porque nem conheço todas, mas as que eu conheço e onde costumo comprar eu vou mostrar.

It's been a while since people ask me for it, so last weekend I started my visits to some stores.

Of course I will not be able to go at all because I do not even know all of them, but the ones I know and where I usually buy, I will certainly show.

E vou começar com a Casa Ribeiro, que já conheço desde que eu era adolescente e precisava de material escolar; naquela época a loja era um "parque de diversões" pra mim, tinha tudo que eu queria!

And I'll start with Casa Ribeiro, which I've known since I was a teenager and needed school supplies; At that time the store was an "amusement park" for me, it had everything I wanted!

O tempo passou e a Casa Ribeiro expandiu o número de lojas, agora são 6. Eu fui na loja do Barra Shopping, na expansão, parte nova, e lá tem tudo que um artista quer, mostro tudo no vídeo. Mais á frente vou na loja do Shopping Downtown. A loja do Méier eu também conheço há anos.

Time has passed and Casa Ribeiro expanded the number of stores, now it's 6. I went to the Barra Shopping store in the expansion, new part, and there is everything an artist wants, I show everything in the video. Further on I will go to the Downtown Shopping. The Meier's store I've known for years.
