Hoje é o 2º vídeo da série de vídeos onde mostro onde comprar material artístico no Rio de Janeiro, e no vídeo mostro a Papelaria JOU JOU no Barra Shopping.

É uma loja grande, com muitos ítens pra presente e também com material pra arte e artesanato e muito material: canetas de todo tipo, borrachas, pincéis, telas, tintas aquarela, guache, acrílica, óleo, blocos, estojos de pintura, pastel.... dá vontade de levar tudo pra casa!

Today is the 2nd video of the series of videos where I show where we can buy artistic material in Rio de Janeiro, and in this video I show the Jou Jou Stationery - Barra Shopping.

It is a large store with many items for gift and also with material for art and crafts: pens of all kinds, erasers, brushes, canvases, watercolor paints, gouache, acrylic, oil, paper blocks, paint boxes, pastel. ... it makes me want to take it all home!

Já pintei muito com pastel oleoso e pastel seco, preciso voltar a essa técnica, e quando vejo essa quantidade de material minha vontade aumenta, com certeza!

I've painted a lot with oily pastels and dry pastels, I need to go back to this technique, and when I see that amount of material my will increases, for sure!

Também há Papelaria JOU JOU  no Leblon, na Av. Ataulfo de Paiva 900 A, e nessa ainda não fui....eu disse "ainda" não fui......

Vou visitar outras papelarias e lojas de material artístico, fazer vídeo quando for permitido e mostrar tudo aqui e no YouTube.



Ás vezes o desespero aparece quando queremos um material e não sabemos onde comprar. Claro que há a opção das lojas online mas e o tempo do Correio? Pra quem não pode ou não gosta de esperar (como eu), é escolher a papelaria mais próxima, destas que estou indicando, e ir sem medo, tem tudo lá!

Aqui está a aquarela que comecei a mostrar na semana passada, mas hoje completa, do jeito que eu imaginei.



Essa aquarela é uma homenagem ao Outono, por mim seria Outono o ano inteiro e minha inspiração é tanta nessa estação do ano que me dá vontade de fazer Art Journal, pinturas, desenhos...tudo relacionado ao Outono, e as cores são lindas, né?

Here's the watercolor I started showing last week, but it's complete today, the way I imagined it.

This watercolor is a tribute to Autumn, for me it would be Autumn all year long and my inspiration is so much in this season of the year that makes me want to do Art Journal, paintings, drawings ... everything related to Autumn, and the colors are beautiful, aren't they?

Pintei bem colorido, cores fortes, nada de tons pastéis nem suaves ao contrário: essas belas cores precisam estar bem representadas, vivas!

 I painted in a colorful way, using strong colors, nothing pastel or soft in reverse: these beautiful colors must be well represented, alive!

O material que usei nesta segunda parte foi:



- Bloco Canson XL Aquarelle, 300g/m²;



- fita crepe;



- 2 recipientes com água;



- toalha;



- lápis e borracha para desenhar;



- caneta permanente Sakura ou Mistubishi;



- pincéis: Raphael Kaerell nº12 redondo;



- aquarelas: Sépia, Permanent Red Medium, Leaf Green, Olive Green, Permanent Yellow Deep.



- escovinha;



- caneta gel branca.



The material I used in this second part was:

- Canson XL Aquarelle Block, 300g / m²;

- tape;

- 2 containers with water;

- towel;

- pencil and eraser to draw;

- Sakura or Mistubishi permanent pen;

- brushes: Raphael Kaerell nº12 round;

- Watercolors: Sepia, Permanent Red Medium, Green Leaf, Olive Green, Permanent Yellow Deep.

- white gel pen.

FELIZ PÁSCOA!!

Pra comemorar a Páscoa e também para atender pedidos, fiz esta Arte do Dia usando principalmente Gelatos.

Algumas pessoas pediram pra que eu mostrasse em vídeo algumas maneiras de usar Gelatos, porque a dúvida é se ele é igual aos crayons Distress Markers do Tim Holtz.

Eu não tenho esses crayons mas acredito que sejam parecidos porque ambos tem a consistência de batom e podem ser aplicados com os dedos, com pincel, com lenço de papel umedecido ou não, com esponja......e se errar é só limpar com um pouco de água e pronto! Então acho que são bem parecidos.

To celebrate Easter and also to fulfill requests, I made this Art Journal using mainly Gelatos.

Some people have asked me to show some ways to use Gelatos, because the question is whether it's the same as Tim Holtz's Distress Markers crayons, or not.

I do not have those crayons but I believe they work in the same way because both have the consistency of lipstick and can be applied with fingers, with a brush, with moistened tissue or not, with a sponge ...... and if we make a mistake we just clean it with a little water and we're done! So I think they look pretty good the same.

A arte de hoje tem coelhos, que cortei com faca Sizzix e também pintei com Gelatos. As cores que escolhi foram o azul, o rosa e o amarelo porque pra mim a Páscoa tem essas cores , coisa de criança feliz.

Today's art has rabbits, which I cut with Sizzix knife and also  painted with Gelatos. The colors I chose were blue, pink and yellow because for me Easter has these colors, a happy child thing.
