Vintage Journals: Pré-lançamento! (1) (Pre-release! )

Olá!

Hoje é o pré lançamento dos livros vintage, ou VINTAGE JOURNALS, aqui do estúdio, ás 15h no YouTube!!

Vou lançar 4 livros: o Blue, o Matisse, o Class A e o Green Liz e vou mostrar cada um deles em vídeo, a partir de amanhã ás 15horas.

Então de amanhã até sexta-feira teremos vídeos e os livros estarão disponíveis na loja a partir desta sexta-feira, dia 17 de agosto. São artesanais, únicos, exclusivos, não fiz livros iguais por isso se você quer algum fique de olho na loja pra garantir o seu antes que acabe!

Eu gosto de todos, precisei me conter pra não ficar com eles pra mim 💗, porque preciso de livros com muitas folhas pra escrever. 

Um que eu gosto bastante é o Green Liz porque ele é muito inglês, me lembra muito uns lugares que eu gosto numa certa ilha lá em cima no Atlântico.......

Ele também é unissex e esse formato comprido me agrada bastante: um típico livro inglês!

Today is the pre-release of the vintage books, or VINTAGE JOURNALS,  at 3pm on YouTube !!

I'm going to release 4 books: Blue, Matisse, Class A and Green and I'll show each one on videos, from tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.

So, from tomorrow until Friday we will have videos and the journals  will be available in the store on  this Friday, August 17th. They are handcrafted, unique, exclusive, I did not make equal books so if you want one keep an eye on the store to guarantee yours before it's over!

I like them all, I needed to restrain myself from keeping them for myself, because I need books with lots of sheets to write.

One that I really like is the Green Liz because it is very "Englishy", reminds me of a lot of places I like on a certain island up in the Atlantic .......

It is also unisex and this long format pleases me a lot: a typical English book!

E o Matisse?

Esse tem as capas em tecido, com uma imagem de algum pintor antigo que pra mim é o Matisse! O recorte das folhas por dentro também ficou muito bonito. E também é unissex porque o laço sai completamente se algum menino não gostar dele.

What about the Matisse Journal?

This one has the covers in fabric, with an image painted by of some old painter that for me is Matisse! The cut of the sheets inside also looked very beautiful. And it's also unisex because the loop comes out completely if any boy does not like it.

O Blue é mais feminino, também com formato comprido, gostoso de pegar.

The Blue Journal  is more feminine, also with a long format, nice to pick up.

O Class A Journal também pode ser usado por meninos, basta tirar a fita que é solta justamente pra isso, além disso é muito "classudo" por isso ganhou esse nome. Já pensou em levar um livro assim pra uma reunião?? Que charme!

Class A can also be used by boys, just take out the lace that can be released just for this, in addition it is very "classy" so it gained that name. Have you thought about bringing a book like that to a meeting ?? So charming!

Como forrar envelopes (Lining envelopes) - DIY - VIDEO

Sabe aqueles envelopes lindos, forrados com papel liso, papel de scrap ou até com tecido?



Como forrar esses envelopes de um jeito fácil e que fiquem com a borda certa, bonita?



Eu uso a ferramenta americana Envelope Punch Board, mas já vi uma ferramenta parecida feita aqui mesmo no Brasil, não sei a marca mas sei que existe.

A americana tem um preço bem em conta, cerca de R$130,00 na data de hoje, comprando pela internet em lojas brasileiras.



Vale a pena o investimento? Sim, muito!

Do you know those beautiful envelopes, lined with plain paper, scrap paper or even fabric?

How to line these envelopes in an easy way so that they have the right edge?

I use the American Envelope Punch Board tool, but I already saw a similar tool made right here in Brazil, I do not know the brand but I know it exists.

The American one  has a fair price, about R$ 130.00 today,  buying online in Brazilian stores.

Does it worth the investment? Yes, a lot!

Todos os envelopes das fotos foram feitos e forrados com a ajuda dessa ferramenta. Claro que podemos fazer tudo usando moldes mas é bem trabalhoso pra quem precisa fazer uma quantidade grande de envelopes.

All photo envelopes were made and lined with the help of this tool. Of course we can do everything using molds but it is very laborious for those who need to make a large amount of envelopes.

Os forros de papel são mais simples de fazer porque usamos diretamente a ferramenta; já os forros de tecido precisam que seja feito um molde na ferramenta e depois, com o molde, colocamos em cima do tecido previamente colado em papel, passamos o lápis em volta e recortamos. 

Dá um pouco mais de trabalho mas vale a pena: os envelopes ficam lindos!

Paper liners are simpler to make because we use the tool directly; the fabric liners require  a mold made in the tool and then, with the mold, we put on the fabric previously pasted in paper, pass the pencil around and cut.

It gives a little more work but it's worth it: the envelopes look beautiful!

Minha bolsa de Aquarela pra viagem + Penêdo (My Watercolor travel bag + Penêdo city) - VIDEO

E voltei das férias já mostrando o que levei de material para sketch na minha bolsa de viagem!



Eu adoro ver o material que os outros artistas levam nas viagens e também gosto de mostrar o que eu uso. Até que desta vez levei pouca coisa, só o que me incomodou um pouco foi o fato de ter levado meus 2 estojos de aquarela e o maior ser pesado, mas muito pesado!



No vídeo também mostro um pouco da cidade de Penêdo, que fica a uns 165km da cidade do rio de janeiro, as que pertence ao estado do Rio de Janeiro.

So here I am back from the holidays and already showing my sketch material in my travel bag!

I love to see the material that other artists take on travel and I also like to show what I use. This time I took few material, but what bothered me a little was the fact that I took my 2 watercolor boxes and the biggest one was heavy, very heavy!



In the video I also show the city of Penêdo, which is about 165km from the city of Rio de Janeiro and belongs to the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Almocei no Fritz, comida boa, e depois fui andar um pouco pelas ruas e ver os artesanatos e as lojas de pedras, de velas....adoro!

Na foto abaixo, uma pedra de assar pizza, imagina o tamanho dela!

I had lunch at the Fritz, good food,  then I went to walk around the streets and see the crafts and the shops of stones, candles .... I love it!

In the picture below, a pizza baking stone, imagine the size of it!

Entrei no shopping Pequena Finlândia, um mundo de lojas lindas e de arte.

I went to the Little Finland mall, a world of beautiful shops and art.

E claro que em Penêdo  é Natal o ano inteiro, não importa o mês!

And of course in Penedo is Christmas all year round, no matter the month!

E no meio da tarde já estava de volta à estrada pra São Lourenço, Minas Gerais, que é o meu objetivo. Na foto abaixo, um pouco da Serra da Mantiqueira ainda no Rio.

 And in the middle of the afternoon I was back on the road to São Lourenço, Minas Gerais, which is my goal. In the photo below, a bit of the Serra da Mantiqueira still in Rio.
