Hoje é o lançamento do STORY JOURNAL de uma das personagens mais lindinhas que conheço: a Bruxa Onilda!



No livro "As Memórias da bruxa Onilda" ela nos conta que praticamente nasceu pronta: bruxa com vestido típico, vassoura, etc...e já nasceu falando e andando, coisas de bruxa mesmo 😂.

Today is the release of a STORY JOURNAL of one of the most cute characters I know: the Witch  Onilda!

In the book "Memories of the Witch Onilda" she tells us that she was practically born ready: a witch with typical dress, broom, etc ... and was born talking and walking, witch' stuff 😂.

Estamos em Outubro, mês das bruxas e do Halloween e como parte das comemorações fiz 2 STORY JOURNALS da Bruxa Onilda (o outro será mostrado amanhã), e neste livro além de podermos ler a história inteira em suas páginas, há folhas brancas e coloridas enfeitadas com rendas, pingentes,  envelopes, carimbos, cantoneiras e tags, ótimas para escrever/desenhar e até para colar fotos.

We are in October, witches and Halloween' month and as part of the celebrations I made 2 STORY JOURNALS of Witch Onilda (the other will be shown tomorrow), and in this journal, besides being able to read the whole story in its pages, there are white and colorful sheets adorned with lace, pendants, envelopes, stamps, corners and tags, great for writing / drawing and even for photos.

Ele mede aproximadamente 18,5 cm de altura x 24 cm de altura e 4,5 cm de espessura, pesa cerca de 900 gramas e tem 112 folhas (224 páginas), 120g / m², em branco, laranja e roxo, incluindo todas as folhas do livro original.

It measures approximately 18.5 cm height x 24 cm height and 4.5 cm thickness, weighs about 900 grams and has 112 sheets (224 pages) , 120g / m², in white, orange and purple, including all the sheets of the original book.

Também tem carimbos, tags, colagens em forma de teias, aranhas e morcegos, pingentes, envelopes, cantoneiras, clips, rendas nas bordas de algumas folhas. 

It also has stamps, tags, web, spiders and bats collages, pendants, envelopes, angles, clips, lace on the edges of some sheets.

Tem mais detalhes também: botões na lombada, capa posterior e lombada em tecido, fitas de cetim, etc...... um pequeno mundo de cores em um único livro!

It has more details too: buttons on the spine, back cover and spine in fabric, satin ribbons, etc ...... a small world of colors in a single book!

Parque de São Lourenço & Sketches #6 - VÍDEO

Hoje é dia de voltar pra casa e deixar este pedaço de paraíso que é a cidade de São Lourenço. 

Uma última visita ao parque me permite fazer o último sketch, mas antes deixo aqui fotos do sketch da igreja onde consegui concluir a pintura. É uma igreja pequena, bonita, bem cuidada e aberta o dia todo para as muitas pessoas que a visitam diariamente.

O desenho foi feito em um dia, e a pintura em outro. Sentando no pátio da igreja, aqui e ali, consegui terminar evitando que as pessoas se aglomerassem em volta de mim. Mas foi difícil.

Today is the day to go home and leave this piece of paradise that is São Lourenço city.

A last visit to the park allows me to do the last sketch, but before I leave here are some photos of the sketch of the church where I finished the painting. It is a small, beautiful church, well cared  and open all day long  for the many people who visit it daily.

The drawing was done in one day, and painting in another day. Sitting in the churchyard, here and there,  I managed to finhish the drawing by preventing people from crowding around me. But it was hard.

Mais uma caminhada pelo parque, apreciando a Natureza através dos animais, do lago, da vegetação bem cuidada, das árvores, da atmosfera tranquila.

Another walk through the park, enjoying nature through the animals, the lake, the well-kept vegetation, the trees, the peaceful atmosphere.

Esta enorme árvore sempre me chamou a atenção! Fico pensando no tempo que levou pra ficar tão alta, tão imponente e majestosa: eu adoro árvores, tenho fascínio por elas desde criança. Escondem segredos em suas raízes, conhecem a Terra, Gaia, ajudam o planeta de uma forma que nenhum ser humano consegue imaginar. São perfeitas!

This huge tree has always caught my eye! I think about the time it took to get so tall, so imposing and majestic: I love trees, I've been fascinated by them since I was a child. They hide secrets in their roots, they know the Earth, Gaia, they help the planet in a way that no human being can imagine. They're perfect!

                                               

Então fiz um desenho dela em preto e branco, tentando captar toda a sua essência. Todas as árvores merecem respeito.

Hora de ir embora, não é um "adeus", apenas um "até breve".

Then I drew a picture of it in black and white, trying to capture all its essence. All trees deserve respect.

Time to leave, it's not a "goodbye", just a "see you soon".

Parque de São Lourenço + Sketch #5 - VÍDEO

Visitar São Lourenço e ir no Parque das Águas pra mim é tudo de bom, principalmente quando posso sentar e desenhar/pintar, mas nem sempre. Ir nas férias pode ser divertido pra crianças e família mas um pouco complicado pra quem quer espalhar material de pintura pelo chão e ficar á vontade. Consegui fazer um sketch, sofrido, mas saiu. 

Visiting São Lourenço and going to Parque das Águas for me is awesome, especially when I can sit and draw / paint, but not always. Going on vacation can be fun for kids and family but a bit complicated for those who want to spread paint material on the floor and feel comfortable. 

O parque é muito bem cuidado, ótimo pra crianças, e lembro de meus filhos tirando fotos com a Branca de Neve e correndo de um lado pro outro.

A Natureza nos deixa felizes, em paz, como se o mundo fora do parque não existisse e como se pudéssemos apenas contemplar o belo.

 The park is very well maintained, great for children, and I remember my children taking pictures with Snow White and running from one side to the other.

Nature makes us happy, in peace, as if the world outside the park did not exist and as if we could only contemplate the beauty of the place.

Nos finais de semana o parque fica lotado e pra quem quer fazer sketch nem sempre há tranquilidade o suficiente. Haja concentração!

As pessoas, curiosas que são, gostam de ver os desenhos, de chegar perto, de fazer perguntas. As mais "ousadas" querem pegar o material, saber pra que serve cada coisa. Para as crianças é tudo festa; sentam perto, querem desenhar também, querem aprender. Posso dizer que fazer desenho num lugar assim é, no mínimo, um desafio.

On weekends the park is crowded and for those who want to sketch it is not always quiet enough. One needs to have a huge concentration!

The curious people like to see the drawings, to get close, to ask questions. The more "daring" ones want to get the material, to know what each thing is for. For kids it's all party; they sit close, want to draw too, want to learn. I can say that drawing in such a place is at least a challenge.

E como a paz reina nesse lugar assim fiz eu: deixei que ela reinasse em mim também e tranquilamente desenhei, passeei, me diverti.



São Lourenço é uma cidade muito aconchegante, que nos transforma pra melhor, muda nosso humor, faz com que as cores á nossa volta fiquem mais brilhantes tamanha é a tranquilidade que sentimos nesse lugar.

And as peace reigns in this place, so  did I: I let it reign in me and quietly drew,  strolled, had fun.

São Lourenço is a very cozy city, that transforms us for the better, changes our mood, makes the colors around us brighter due to the tranquility we feel in this place.
