Como fazer penduricalho para livros? DIY (Tassel)

Sabe aquele penduricalho que sempre coloco nos meus Junk Journals?



Você sabia que eles também ficam ótimos quando pendurados em bolsas, carteiras e até quando são usados como se fossem chaveiros?



Vamos aprender uma das formas de fazer um penduricalho? Sim, porque existem muitas maneiras de fazer um desses enfeites, cada pessoa o faz de forma diferente, com materiais diferentes, com criatividade!

You know that pendant that I always put in my Junk Journals?

Did you know that they also look great when hung in purses, wallets and even when worn as if they were keychains?

Let's learn one of the ways to make that pendant! Yes, because there are many ways to make one of these embellishments, each person does it differently, with different materials, with creativity!

Podemos usar miçangas de todas as cores e tamanhos, pedaços de fitas, rendas, medalhas, botões, partes de bijuterias, partes metálicas de chaveiros.....é um mundo de enfeites, e muitos deles a gente consegue em casa, basta ter um olhar atento para pequenos objetos que perdem o uso e são candidatos a serem jogados no lixo.



Só que alguns desses objetos são ótimos pra colocar em penduricalhos! Então, ao longo do tempo vamos juntando coisas e mais coisas que com certeza vamos precisar.

We can wear beads of all colors and sizes, pieces of ribbons, lace, medals, buttons, pieces of jewelry, metal parts of keychains ..... it's a world of embellishments, and many of us can get it at home, we must have a watchful eye for small objects that lose their use and are candidates to be thrown in the trash.

But some of these objects are great to put on pendants! So, over time, we're putting together things and things that we're going to need.

Pra fazer um penduricalho primeiro separamos linhas, fitas e tiras de tecidos. Depois vamos adicionando as miçangas e os adereços a essas linhas, fitas e tecidos que serão dobrados (todos juntos)  ao meio e amarrados para formar o penduricalho.

To make a pendant we first separate threads, ribbons and fabric strips. Then we add the beads and props to these threads, ribbons and fabrics that will be folded (all together) in half and tied to form the pendant.

O penduricalho precisa ser preso em algum tipo de clips ou argola, e logo depois que fizermos isso estará pronto pra ser colocado em capas de livros, preso em bolsas e carteiras, em malas de viagem são ótimos pra ajudar na identificação visual, e também podem ser usados como chaveiros.

The pendant needs to be attached to some clips or a ring, and soon after we do that it will be ready to be put on book covers, stuck in purses and wallets, on suitcases are great for assisting in visual identification, and they can also be used as key chains.

Ah, e são fáceis de fazer e as crianças adoram ajudar!!

Oh, and they are easy to make: kids love helping !!

Livros Medievais II (Medieval Books) - VÍDEO

O fascínio pelo Medievalismo, com seus mistérios, sua penumbra.....tempos difíceis mas também tempos de festas, de danças e alegria, de comida feita em fogueiras, de roupas trançadas, de livros rústicos e feitos á mão!

Estes Livros Medievais nos ajudam a entrar nesse clima!

Feitos artesanalmente, cada um possui 80 folhas (160 páginas) de papel offset 120g/m²   envelhecidas á mão, uma a uma e depois costuradas em um belo pedaço de courino, com um fechamento rústico.

Fechados, cada um mede cerca de 14cm de base x 19cm de altura e pesa aproximadamente 290 gramas, bem leves e fáceis de serem carregados pra qualquer lugar!

The fascination with Medievalism, with its mysteries, its gloom ..... difficult times but also times of parties, of dancing and joy, of food made in bonfires, of braided clothes, of rustic and handmade books!



These Medieval Books help us get into this mood!



Handcrafted, each one has 80 sheets (160 pages) of 120g / m² offset paper, aged by hand, one by one and then sewn into a beautiful piece of fake  leather with a rustic closure.



Closed, each measures about 14cm in height x 19cm in height and weighs approximately 290 grams, light and easy to carry anywhere!

Este preto tem a costura cruzada e o fechamento com elástico decorado com um botão.

This black one has a cross stitching and the closure with elastic decorated with a button.

Já este da foto abaixo tem uma costura que é uma variação da longstitch e o fechamento é com cordonê preto e medalha antiga.

This one of the photo below has a seam that is a variation of the longstitch and the closure is with black cordon and old medal.

Todos os livros mostrados neste post são em courino preto, e este abaixo tem o fechamento feito com trança feita á mão e botão com efeito madrepérola.

All the books shown in this post are in black fake leather, and this one below has the closure made with handmade braid and button with mother-of-pearl effect.

It's been a while since I've released some Medieval Books and I know there are people who miss them, so I've  made some models and I'll show them in the next 4 posts here on the blog.

But they are already available in the store!

Handmade books end fast and these beyond medieval are unique, I've made only one of each model ......so visit the store and choose yours!

Todos estes das fotos medem cerca de 14cm de base x 19cm de altura tem 80 folhas de papel offset 120g/m², envelhecidas á mão, uma a uma, e depois costuradas num belo pedaço de courino.

All of these in the photos have 80 sheets of 120g / m² offset paper, handmade aged one by one, and then sewn into a nice piece fake leather.

Na foto abaixo o courino é na cor bordô, lindo, e o fechamento é com botão de madeira e trança feita á mão.

In the photo below the fake leather is in burgundy color, beautiful, and the closure is with a wooden button and a braid made by hand.

Já este, com fechamento em tira de courino, é na cor preta.

This one, with fake leather strip closure is in black color.

As costuras também são variadas seguindo a técnica da Longstitch, então nesta primeira leva de livros fiz apenas capas nas cores pretas e bordôs e costuras diversas, e como por dentro todos são iguais na hora de escolher um deles o melhor é escolher tanto pela cor da capa quanto pela costura preferida.

The sewings are also varied according to the  Longstitch technique, so in this first series of books I 've made only black and wine color covers  and various sewings, and as inside they are all equal when choosing one of them it is best to choose by the cover color or  by the preferred seam.

Neste da foto abaixo, por exemplo, a costura é cruzada e no fechamento coloquei uma chave envelhecida presa numa corda de trança.

In the picture below, for example, the book has a crossed sewing  and the closure has  an aged key attached to a braid rope.

Ah, e claro que são unissex, então, vai lá....visite a loja e escolha o seu!
