HALLOWEEN JUNK JOURNALS #2 - VÍDEO

Este é o segundo Junk Journal de HALLOWEEN e está ficando difícil escolher o mais bonito, deve ser porque adoro Halloween.

This is the HALLOWEEN's second Junk Journal and it's getting hard to pick the prettiest one, it must be because I love Halloween.

Fiz 4 Junk Journals, todos com o mesmo número de folhas, mesmo tamanho, as mesmas tags e enfeites mas colocados em ordem diferente em cada livro.

I made 4 Junk Journals, all with the same number of sheets, same size, same tags and embellishments but placed in different order in each book.

Mas os 4 Junk Journals tem capas totalmente diferentes, então o melhor é escolher pela capa.

But the 4 Junk Journals have totally different covers, so it's best to choose by the cover.

Vou repetir a descrição que fiz no primeiro post, e nos posts seguintes vou colocar igual já que todos são iguais.

I will repeat the description I made in the first post, and in the following posts I will put equal since they all are alike.

Feito artesanalmente, o formato é muito confortável, gostoso de pegar, mede 19cm de altura por 14cm de largura, 4cm de espessura na lombada e pesa cerca de 530 gramas.

Possui 60 folhas, ou seja, 120 páginas  de papel Color Plus com gramatura 120, divididas em brancas, pretas, roxas, envelhecidas, transparentes.

Essa gramatura permite que você escreva até com caneta tinteiro!

Além de tudo isso o livro vem recheado com envelopes, cantoneiras, cartões, tags, marcador de página, rendas, fitas, clips decorados, páginas decoradas com carimbos, etc...

Crafted by hand, the shape is very comfortable, nice to pick up, measures 19cm high by 14cm wide, 4cm thick on the spine and weighs about 530 grams.

It has 60 sheets, or 120 pages of 120 Color Plus Color Paper divided into white, black, purple, aged, transparent.

This grammage allows you to write even with a fountain pen!

In addition, the book is filled with envelopes, angles, cards, tags, bookmarks, lace, ribbons, decorated clips, pages decorated with stamps, etc ...

ATC #7: A Primavera chegou (ATC # 7: Spring Has Arrived!) - VÍDEO

Setembro chegou e com ele a Primavera! 

Mês das flores, do Amor, mês em que toda a Natureza se inspira para a Criação!

E neste vídeo vamos fazer ATCs circulares, também chamados "coins", usando Gelatos como técnica básica. 

São ATCs simples, rápidos de fazer e que mais á frente serão trocados no Grupo de ATC do Estúdio Brigit lá no FaceBook.

September has arrived and with it comes Spring!

The month of flowers, of Love, the month in which all Nature draws inspiration from Creation!

And in this video we will make circular ATCs, also called coins, using Gelatos as the basic technique.

These are simple, quick-to-do ATCs that will be exchanged later in the Brigit's  ATC Group  on FaceBook.

Vou fazer ATC Coins, ou ATC circulares, que tem a medida padrão de 2,5 polegadas (6,35cm) e colorir com 3 cores de Gelatos.



Posso aplicar Gelatos com os dedos umedecidos em água ou com pincel, mas não vou espalhar as cores porque não quero mistura-las.

 I am going to make ATC Coin, or circular ATC, which has the standard size of 2.5 inches and I am going to color it with 3 colors of Gelatos.

I can apply the Gelatos with my fingers moistened with water, or with a  brush, but I won't spread the colors because I don't want to mix them.

Com o aquecedor seco os ATCs, e gosto de colocar uma toalha grossa por baixo para não queimar minha mesa e meus dedos.

With the heater I dry the ATC, and I like to put a thick towel underneath so as not to burn my table and my fingers (yep, sometimes it happens!)

Preciso impermeabilizar o Gelatos para que fique fixo, sem reagir com líquidos como água e cola, e pra isso vou usar o Matte Medium que é um tipo de cola, e sendo cola também serve para impermeabilizar.

I need to waterproof the painting so that it stays fixed, without reacting with liquids like water and glue, and for that I will use Matte Medium which is a type of glue, and being a glue it also serves to waterproof the painting and the ATC.

Aplico o Matte Medium com espátula e com cuidado para que o Gelatos não reaja.

I apply Matte Medium with a spatula with care so that the Gelatos do not react.

Escolho um carimbo floral, e com carimbeira permanente (Archival Ink) faço a carimbada em uma folha de papel manteiga ou de papel vegetal.

I choose a floral stamp, and with a permanent ink pad (Archival Ink) I stamp it on a sheet of parchment paper.

É importante secar o material entre as etapas e neste caso o secador ajuda a fixar mais rápido a tinta da carimbeira.

It is important to dry the material between steps and in this case the dryer/heater helps to fix the ink  faster.

Agora viro o papel ao contrário e escolho alguns Gelatos para colorir o carimbo.

Now I turn the paper over and choose some Gelatos to color the stamp.

Gelatos são ótimos para pintar, como se fossem aquarelas.

Gelatos are great for painting like watercolors.

Seco bem a pintura.....

Let's dry the paint .....

.....recorto as flores.....

..... cut out the flowers .....

... e colo por cima do ATC, mas com a parte pintada em contato com o papel do ATC. Dessa forma posso passar o Mate Medium por cima da flor e o Gelatos não vai reagir com a cola.

A aplicação com espátula ajuda a fixar melhor.

... and stick it on the ATC, but with the painted part in contact with the paper of the ATC. That way I can pass Mate Medium over the flower and the Gelatos won't react with the glue.

The spatula application helps to fix it better.

Com caneta permanente preta da Mitsubishi escrevo "A Primavera"....

With black permanent pen from Mitsubishi I write "The Spring" ....

... e completo a frase com a palavra "chegou" escrita com uma caneta de ponta mais grossa, da Faber-Castell.

Em volta do círculo também faço um tracejado com essa caneta.

 ... then I complete the sentence with the word "arrived" written with a thicker pen from Faber-Castell.

I also draw a line around the circle  with this pen.

Agora com uma caneta branca, da marca Posca, sublinho a flor e escrevo por cima da palavra "chegou", pra suaviza-la um pouco.

Now with a white pen, Posca brand, I underline the flower and write over the word "arrived", to soften it a little.

Preciso de um pouco de brilho! Então com a cola Diamond Glaze, que na verdade é uma cola dimensional incolor, cubro apenas as flores.

I need some shine! So with the Diamond Glaze glue, which is actually a colorless dimensional glue, I just cover the flowers. 

Espero secar, desta vez sem usar o aquecedor e voilà! ATCs de Primavera!!

I wait for it to drying, this time without using the heater, and voilà! Spring ATCs !!
