No post anterior eu mostrei como fazer uma Árvore de Natal: https://youtu.be/bqcjc3yzb78  E neste eu mostro como fazer um Anjo de Natal com a mesma técnica de dobradura das folhas de um livro, e fica lindo!

Pick up a book you don't want anymore, some glue, a little ball that could be a ping pong one and let's make a beautiful #christmasangel?!

And in this one I show how to make a Christmas Angel with the same technique of folding the sheets of a book, and it looks beautiful! 

Decorate your living room, your desk, your bedroom and also give away this creative and easy-to-do art! Oh, and the materials are very economical! Come and see!



Escolha um livro que tenha entre 150 e 200 folhas, no máximo, e separe as folhas em 6 partes aproximadamente iguais.

Choose a book that has a maximum of 150 to 200 sheets, and separate the sheets into approximately 6 equal parts.

Separe a primeira e última partes com a ajuda de um clips, elas serão as asas do anjo.

Separate the first and the last parts with the help of clips, they will be the wings of the angel.

Com o livro de frente para você dobre a primeira folha, de baixo pra cima, em direção à lombada.



Na verdade a forma de dobrar as folhas é exatamente igual ao que fizemos no post anterior, se você viu o post/vídeo anterior fica bem fácil de entender.

With the book facing you, fold the first sheet from the bottom up toward the spine.

In fact the way to fold the sheets is exactly the same as we did in the previous post, if you saw the previous post / video it is very easy to understand.

Dobre novamente a folha em direção à lombada...

Fold the sheet back toward the spine ...

Faça os vincos com a ajuda de uma dobradeira ou espátula.

Make the creases with the help of a folder or spatula.

Com o excesso, a ponta da dobra, que forma o triângulo faça uma nova dobra e coloque-a para o outo lado da folha.

With the excess, the tip of the fold that forms the triangle make a new fold and place it to the other side of the sheet. 

Repita o mesmo procedimento com todas as folhas que você separou com o clips e você terá uma asa.

Repeat the same procedure with all the sheets you have separated with the clips and you will have a wing.

Coloque novamente o clips para segurar a asa que está pronta e repita o procedimento com a sexta parte das folhas separadas para fazer a outra asa.

Replace the clips to hold the wing that is ready and repeat the procedure with the sixth part of the sheets separated to make the other wing.

Você terá agora as duas asas prontas.

You will now have both wings ready.

É o momento de fazer o corpo, a roupa do anjo. Comece na primeira folha após a primeira asa, mas desta vez dobre de cima para baixo, exatamente com o mesmo procedimento de dobras.

This is the time to make the body, the angel's clothes. Start on the first sheet after the first wing, but this time fold from top to bottom with exactly the same folding procedure.

Dobre uma vez a folha na direção da lombada, faça o vinco, dobre novamente em direção à lombada, faça o vinco.

Fold the sheet once towards the spine, make the crease, fold again toward the spine, make the crease.

Dobre a ponta do triângulo para dentro do livro.

Fold the tip of the triangle into the book.

Repita esse procedimento até todas as folhas tenham sido dobradas e você terá o corpo/ roupa do anjo. 

Repeat this procedure until all sheets have been folded and you will have the angel's body / clothing.

Passe um pouco de cola quente entre cada folha das asas, separadamente.

Spread some hot glue between each wing sheet separately.

Para tirar um pouco do branco do papel use algum tipo de tinta, no anjo abaixo eu usei uma esponja com um pouco de tinta acrílica dourada para passar nas extremidades das folhas dobradas que formavam a roupa.

To remove some of the white from the paper use some ink, on the angel below I used a sponge with some golden acrylic paint to pass the on ends of the folded sheets that formed the clothes.

Use uma bola de ping pong ou de isopor para servir como cabeça mas se usar a de ping pong passe uma lixa macia em toda a superfície para deixa-la lisa e tirar as imperfeições.

Use a ping pong or Styrofoam ball to serve as the head, but if you use a ping pong ball, use a soft sandpaper all over the surface to make it smooth and remove imperfections.

Você pode deixar a bola branca, pinta-la ou usar uma meia feminina pra dar um pouco de cor a ela.

You can leave the ball white, paint it or use a feminine sock to add some color to it.

Use renda ou até mesmo um pedaço de doilie para enfeitar a roupa do anjo, perto do pescoço.

Use lace or even a piece of doilie to adorn the angel's clothes near the neck.

 A partir deste momento você pode enfeitar o anjo como quiser!

From this moment on you can adorn the angel as you wish!

ÁRVORE DE NATAL com livro - DIY (CHRISTMAS TREE with book) - VÍDEO

Uma #arvoredenatal feita com livro é uma ideia prática, simples de fazer e econômica também. Mostrei como fazer uma dessas há 8 anos atrás aqui no blog, mas na época não fiz vídeo mostrando esse diy porque eu era blogueira mas não era youtuber, então aqui está!



Podemos usar qualquer livro, apenas escrito ou com gravuras, tanto faz. E os enfeites também são opcionais porque apenas a árvore depois de pronta já é linda. Eu coloquei uma estrela simples no topo mas poderia até colocar pequenas luzes nela.



O material é bem simples: se for apenas para a árvore basta termos um livro. Se quisermos enfeitar um pouco mais vamos precisar de glitter, cola em bastão, cola quente, algumas pérolas bem pequenas e uma estrela de papel bonito. 



Vamos fazer? Leva cerca de 15 minutos, muito fácil e rápida!



A #christmastree made with a book is a practical idea, simple to make and economical as well. I showed how to do one of these 8 years ago here on my blog, but at that time I didn't make a video showing this diy because I was a blogger not a youtuber, so here it is!



We can use any book, just written or engraved, whatever. And the embellishments are also optional because only the tree, when ready, is beautiful. I put a simple star on top but could even put small lights on it.



The material is quite simple: if it is only for the tree we just need a book. If we want to embellish a little more we will need glitter, stick glue, hot glue, some very small pearls and a beautiful paper star.





Let's do it? It takes about 15 minutes, very easy and fast!

 Escolha um livro, de capa dura ou macia, mas que tenha as folhas costuradas na lombada. 

Choose a book, hardcover or soft, but with the sheets sewn into the spine.

Separe o miolo do livro da capa, com cuidado, usando um estilete.

Carefully separate the book's core from the cover using a stylus.

Vamos usar apenas o miolo do livro e vamos começar na primeira folha. Coloque o livro voltado para você, como se fosse lê-lo.

Let's just use the core of the book and let's start on the first sheet. Place the book facing you, as if reading it.

Dobre a primeira folha em direção à lombada e faça um vinco com uma espátula ou com os dedos.

Fold the first sheet toward the spine and crease with a spatula or with your fingers.

Dobre novamente a folha que acabou de dobrar, juntando a extremidade à lombada novamente.

Fold the newly folded sheet again, joining the end to the spine again.

Dessa maneira você terá um triângulo na parte de baixo do livro. Com a ajuda dos dedos, faça um vinco nesse triângulo.

This way you will have a triangle at the bottom of the book. Use your fingers to crease this triangle.

Dobre a ponta do triângulo para dentro do livro.

Fold the tip of the triangle into the book.

Você terá feito um triângulo formado pelas dobras da primeira folha.

You will have made a triangle formed by the folds of the first sheet.

Faça as mesmas dobras com todas as folhas do livro, uma por uma. Não dobre 2 ou 3 folhas juntas, dobre de uma em uma.

Make the same folds with all the sheets of the book, one by one. Do not fold 2 or 3 sheets together, fold one by one.

Com todas as folhas dobradas, a árvore já está praticamente pronta.

With all the sheets folded, the tree is practically ready.

Com cola em bastão ou com um pincel "sujo" com cola, passe suavemente cola sobre as  extremidades da árvore.

Using stick glue or a "dirty" glue brush, gently apply glue on the edges of the tree.

Escolha uma cor de  Glitter; eu escolhi o madrepérola mas você pode escolher Glitter verde, azul, etc.... ..

Choose a glitter color; I chose  pearl but you can choose green, blue glitter, etc ....

..... e aplique o Glitter sobre a árvore. A cola fará com que o Glitter grude nas dobras das folhas.

..... and apply the glitter on the tree. The glue will  stick the glitter to the folds of the sheets.

 Aguarde um pouco até a cola secar.

Wait a while for the glue to dry.

Agora é a parte da decoração: use pérolas, fitas, rendas, cristais, etc...use o que você quiser para decorar a árvore. Eu usei um cordão com  pequenas pérolas.

Now it is time for the decoration part: use pearls, ribbons, lace, crystals, etc ... use whatever you want to decorate the tree. I used a string with little pearls.

Fixei o cordão de pérolas com cola quente aplicada em algumas partes da árvore.

I fixed the string of pearls with hot glue applied to some parts of the tree.

Recortei uma estrela em papel brilhante e também com cola quente fixei a estrela no topo da árvore.



Há cerca de 8 anos atrás eu mostrei como fazer uma Árvore de Natal com uma revista, exatamente com essa forma de dobrar as folhas, mas como eu era blogueira mas não era Youtuber na época não fiz vídeo mostrando o processo.



Então, logo abaixo você poderá ver no vídeo como é fácil, rápido e econômico montar uma Árvore de Natal com as folhas de um livro.

DIVISÓRIAS PARA CAIXAS (ou "Eu odeio cola quente") - DIVISIONS FOR BOXES (or "I hate hot glue") - DIY - VÍDEO

Sempre preciso de caixas e de preferência que tenham divisórias mas as divisórias tem que ser do tamanho que eu quero! 



Quando compro caixas com divisórias nem sempre fico satisfeita porque gosto de guardar tags e outros recortes de papel nelas, então as divisórias tem que ser de tamanhos diferentes, de acordo com minhas tags e meus recortes.



 A solução é fazer minhas próprias divisórias!



Uso uma caixa já pronta e com papelão (tenho sobrando aqui no estúdio), vou cortando e colando, adaptando o papelão aos tamanhos que preciso

.

Essa é a minha solução, na verdade a única que gosto.

I always need boxes and preferably with tabs but the tabs have to be in the size I want!

When I buy tabbed boxes I am not always happy because I like to store tags and other paper clippings in them, so the tabs have to be different sizes, according to my tags and clippings.

The solution is to make my own divisions!

I use a regular box  and with some  cardboard (I have leftovers here in the studio), I cut and paste, adapting the cardboard to the sizes I need.

This is my solution, actually the only one I like.

Primeiramente precisamos de uma caixa grande o suficiente para colocar o que queremos, no meu caso, preciso de uma para colocar minhas tags.

First we need a box big enough to put what we want, in my case I need one to put my tags.

Depois preciso de um pedaço de papelão duro, que seja da altura da lateral da minha caixa porque ele vai funcionar como se fosse uma parede, uma divisória.

Then I need a piece of hard cardboard that is as high as the side of my box because it will work like a wall, a divider.

Esse papelão deve ser cortado para que se encaixe perfeitamente dentro da caixa e devo definir pelo menos onde ficarão 2 ou 3 papelões maiores, de um lado a outro da caixa.

This cardboard should be cut so that it fits neatly inside the box and I must define where there will be at least 2 or 3 larger cardboard boxes across the box.

Em seguida, coloco minhas tags no lugar onde quero que fiquem dentro da caixa. É como montar um quebra-cabeças: tenho tags de tamanhos diferentes e preciso arruma-las de forma que todas possam ser guardadas, e com um lápis vou desenhando as divisas entre uma tags e outra sempre deixando um pouco de espaço entre as tags porque é nesse espaço que vou colar o papelão.

Then I put my tags where I want them to be in the box. It's like assembling a puzzle: I have tags of different sizes and I need to arrange them so that they can all be stored, and with a pencil I draw the borders between one tag and another always leaving a little space between the tags because it is in this space I will paste the cardboard.

Posso fazer a medição interna usando facas de Sizzix também, pois foi com elas que cortei boa parte das minhas tags.

I can do the internal measurement using Sizzix knives too, because that's where I cut most of my tags.

Depois que marquei todo o fundo da caixa com o lápis, é o momento de colar os papelões maiores.

Once I have marked the entire bottom of the box with the pencil, it is time to glue the larger cardboard.

A cola quente deve ser passada em todas as partes do papelão que ficarão em contato com a caixa.

Hot glue should be applied to all parts of the cardboard that will come in contact with the box.

Após a colagem dos papelões maiores começo a medir os papelões menores e minha medição é bem livre, sem a preocupação de medir exatamente com régua porque posso fazer ajustes no papelão, usando estilete, para que encaixem com perfeição na minha caixa.

After gluing the larger cardboards I start measuring the smaller cartons and my measurement is very free, without the worry of measuring exactly with ruler because I can make adjustments to the cardboard using a stylus so that they fit perfectly in my box.

E assim vou colando, pedaço por pedaço, ou seja, papelão por papelão até que todas as minhas divisórias de papelão estejam coladas.

And so I keep  pasting, piece by piece, that is, cardboard by cardboard until all my cardboard dividers are glued in the box..

A cola quente tem uma secagem bem rápida então praticamente após a colagem da última divisória a caixa estará pronta, e ótima, perfeita para cada tamanho das minhas tags!



Ajudamos a Natureza reaproveitando uma caixa que provavelmente seria jogada no lixo transformando-a em uma caixa com divisórias muito útil para guardas nossas tags!



Mas, você pode fazer caixas assim para guardar várias coisas: bijuterias, roupas, pequenos objetos, etc..

The hot glue has a very fast drying so practically after gluing the last divider the box will be ready, and great, perfect for every size of my tags!

We helped Nature by reusing a box that would probably be thrown in the trash by turning it into a box with dividers, very useful for storing our tags!

But, you can make boxes like this to store various things: costume jewelry, clothes, small objects, etc.
