COMPRINHAS DE MATERIAL DE ARTE EM PORTUGAL #1 (BUYING ART MATERIAL IN PORTUGAL # 1)

Olá!



Neste post eu vou mostrar as compras de material de arte que fiz em Portugal quando estive lá em Outubro do ano passado (2019)!



Também fiz vários vídeos mostrando as cidades e os castelos que visitei, lugares interessantes, aldeias, lojas de artesanato....e todos esses vídeos estão no meu IGTV no Instagram. Pra ver todos esses lugares é só seguir o Estúdio Brigit no Instagram e entrar no IGTV, estão todos lá!

In this post I will show you the art supplies purchases I made in Portugal when I was there in October, last year (2019)!

A primeira loja que achei sim, achei porque estava visitando o Castelo de Santa Maria da  Feira e em uma das ruas da cidade vi uma loja de artesanato.....claro que entrei e fiz algumas compras!

Comprei 3 carimbos que já vem com acrílico, e duas carimbeiras: uma prata e uma dourada.

The first store I found, yes, I found it because I was visiting the Castle of Santa Maria da Feira and on one of the city streets I saw a craft store ..... of course I went in and did some shopping!

I bought 3 stamps that already come with acrylic, and two pads: one silver and one gold.

Um cortador em forma de anjo; em Portugal eles chamam "cortador" e nós no Brasil chamamos de "faca de corte":

Também comprei  este cortador aqui, que eu sei que é pra envelopes ou convites mas sinceramente ainda não me adaptei a ele:

E por fim, estas facas de corte da Sizzix que sinceramente dão muito trabalho porque são muito pequenas. Lindas, mas não sei se tenho tempo e paciência pra usar:

And finally, these cutting knives from Sizzix that honestly give a lot of work because they are very small. Beautiful, but I don't know if I have time and patience to use:

No centro do Porto, na loja Ponto das Artes que fica na Rua Santa Catarina 125, comprei alguns materiais de Artes Plásticas.



É uma loja bem comprida, grande, no coração do Porto, em uma rua de pedestres lotada de turistas.



Comprei 3 pincéis com cabo e ponta metálicos e uma caixa pequena de Aquarela da Sennelier:

In the center of Porto, at the Ponto das Artes store on Rua Santa Catarina 125, I bought some Plastic Arts materials.

It is a very long, large store in the heart of Porto, on a pedestrian street full of tourists.

I bought 3 brushes with metallic handle and tip and a small box of Sennelier Watercolor:

Também no Porto,  há a loja M. Souza Ribeiro, na Rua Pr. Guilherme Gomes Fernandes nº84 que é um verdadeiro paraíso das Artes Plásticas! Tem quase tudo!! O Travel Brush não tinha mas.......tinha muitos outros materiais!



Comprei vários sketchbooks e 3 tubos de tinta aquarela:

Also in Porto, there is the M. Souza Ribeiro store, at Rua Pr. Guilherme Gomes Fernandes nº84, which is a true paradise for Fine Arts! It has almost everything !! They did not have the Travel Brush ....... instead they had a lot of other materials!

I bought several sketchbooks and 3 tubes of watercolor paint:

Em Braga existem várias lojas de Artes Plásticas e craft, comprei 2 pincéis pra aquarela e uma faca de corte no formato de Poinsetia:

In Braga there are several fine arts and craft stores, I bought 2 watercolor brushes and a cutting knife in the Poinsettia format:

Voltando ao Porto, atrás da Torre dos Clérigos, só que não sei o nome da loja, comprei blocos para aquarela e um Visual Journal:

Ou seja, realmente a Europa é o berço das artes, é uma maravilha andar pelas ruas de qualquer um daqueles países que respiram Arte!

In other words, Europe is really the cradle of the arts, it is wonderful to walk the streets of any of those countries that breathe Art!

Voltando às atividades com COVID-19?? ( Returning to activities with COVID-19 ??)

Voltando às atividades com COVID-19?? Ninguém merece!



De fato, a notícia desse vírus e a pandemia que se instaurou em todo o mundo foi uma surpresa geral. Pra mim também.



Lamento muito a situação de pessoas e de países afetados, países da Europa são os mais afetados no momento, mas no Brasil também temos casos da COVID-19.



Aqui no Rio de Janeiro e também em outros estados estamos em quarentena ou isolamento de fato.



Eu mesma, estou no grupo considerado "de risco" porque já tive cancer, tenho um pequeno problema no coração e minha imunidade não é 100% boa.



Estou seguindo as orientações dos profissionais de saúde e ainda acrescentei algumas orientações pessoais: estou confinada em casa, lavo sempre as mãos, mantenho tudo higienizado, se precisar ir à rua sempre coloco máscara, luvas, blusas de mangas compridas, tênis, calça jeans. 



Na rua, mantenho distância de no mínimo 1metro das outras pessoas, e fico apenas o tempo necessário para resolver o que preciso.



Ao chegar em casa, já tenho um pano embebido em desinfetante colocado na entrada da porta, ali mesmo tiro meus tênis que serão lavados; e já me dirijo para a área da lavanderia, sem tocar em nada. Tiro as roupas e as coloco de molho em água e sabão.  A máscara é jogada no lixo, e as luvas são muito bem lavadas.



Importante também é não acumular lixo em casa.



Então cuidem-se bem, obedeçam as instruções dos médicos, sim?



Vamos derrotar esse vírus!

Já voltei das minhas "férias" ou descanso semanas atrás e me envolvi em uma "maratona" de encadernação que constou de 2 partes:



- na primeira lancei uma MINI SÉRIE DE ENCADERNAÇÃO ARTESANAL, que foram 9 vídeos seguidos diários no YouTube contando minha experiência com Encadernadora Artesanal e dando dicas sobre vários assuntos referentes ao tema. 

O décimo vídeo foi ao vivo onde informei a todos que finalmente abri o meu CURSO BÁSICO DE ENCADERNAÇÃO ARTESANAL.  

Em apenas 24h, a primeira turma que hoje está com 26 alunou, lotou.

- na segunda parte, lancei uma MARATONA DE ENCADERNAÇÃO ARTESANAL, amplamente divulgada no Facebook e no Instagram, onde por 4 dias seguidos, de 17 a 20 de março,  online e gratuitamente mostrei como fazer um livro prático, fácil, lucrativo e com várias opções de uso. 

Foi um sucesso! Recebi muitas e muitas fotos dos livros que as pessoas fizeram, junto comigo, na Maratona!



Meu objetivo foi cumprido: mostrar a todos que todas as pessoas podem fazer Encadernação Artesanal!! 



Estou muito feliz!!

As inscrições para o Curso Básico de Encadernação Artesanal fecham assim que atingirmos a quantidade máxima de alunos. 



As turmas são pequenas porque preciso dar atenção a todos que se inscreveram para fazer o Curso.



Quem não conseguiu vaga terá chances mais à frente, em algum momento, quando reabriremos datas para novas turmas.



Aos poucos eu voltarei com a programação normal tanto aqui quanto no YouTube; ficarei alguns dias em repouso mas trabalhando, fazendo mais vídeos para vocês que gostam do meu canal no YouTube e escrevendo o conteúdo deles aqui no blog, como sempre fiz.



A MINI SÉRIE está no Youtube mas a MARATONA não porque são LIVES que serão retiradas do ar logo mais. 



Não vim antes contar tudo isso porque minha audiência neste blog é quase toda de estrangeiros que não falam português e nos vídeos que descrevi acima, eu praticamente falava e falava.

Returning to activities with COVID-19 ?? Nobody deserve!



In fact, the news of this virus and the pandemic that spread around the world was a general surprise. For me too.



I am very sorry about the situation of people and countries affected, European countries are the most affected at the moment, but in Brazil we also have cases of COVID-19.



Here in Rio de Janeiro and also in other states we are actually quarantined or isolated.



I, myself, am in the group considered "at risk" because I already had cancer, I have a small heart problem and my immunity is not 100% good.



I am following the guidelines of health professionals and I also added some personal guidelines: I am confined at home, I always wash my hands, I keep everything clean, if I need to go to out I always put on a mask, gloves, long-sleeved blouses, sneakers, jeans.



On the street, I keep a distance of at least 1 meter from other people, and I only stay as long as necessary to solve what I need.



When I get home, I already have a cloth soaked in disinfectant placed at the door entrance, right there I take off my sneakers that will be washed; and I head for the laundry area, without touching anything. I take off my clothes and soak them in soap and water.



 The mask is thrown in the trash, and the gloves are thoroughly washed.



It is also important not to accumulate garbage at home.



So take care of yourself, obey the doctors' instructions, please?



Let's defeat this virus!



I came back from my "vacation" or rest weeks ago and got involved in a bookbinding "marathon" that consisted of 2 parts:



- in the first one I launched a MINI ARTISANAL BOOKBINDING SERIES, which were 9 videos followed daily on YouTube telling my experience making books and giving tips on various subjects related to the theme. 

The tenth video was live where I informed everyone that I finally opened my BASIC ARTISANAL BOOKBINDING COURSE.



In just 24h, the first class that today has 26 students, filled up.



- in the second part, I launched an ARTISAN BOOKBINDING MARATHON, widely disseminated on Facebook and Instagram, where for 4 straight days, from March 17 to 20, online and free of charge, I showed how to make a practical, easy, profitable book with several options of use.



It was a success!



 I received many, many photos of the books that people made, along with me, in the Marathon!



My goal was fulfilled: to show everyone that everyone can make Handmade Binding !! 



I am way too happy!!



Registration for the Basic BookBinding Course closes as soon as we reach the maximum number of students. 

The classes are small because I need to give attention to everyone who signed up to take the Course.



Those who did not get a place will have chances ahead, at some point, when we will reopen dates for new classes.



Gradually I will return with the normal schedule both here and on YouTube; I will spend a few days at rest but working, making more videos for you who like my YouTube channel and writing their content here on the blog, as I always did.



The MINI SERIES is on Youtube but the MARATHON is not because they are lives that will be taken down soon.



I didn't come to tell you all this before because my audience on this blog is almost all foreigners who don't speak Portuguese and in the videos I described above, I spoke in Portuguese.

FÉRIAS ACABANDO.....(THE VACATIONS ARE ALMOST OVER....)

O Carnaval está chegando e depois dele, as férias do Estúdio Brigit acabam, ou seja, em Março estarei de volta.



Com as energias renovadas para fazer Arte, muita Arte!



Carnival is coming and after it, the vacations at Studio Brigit are over, so in March I will be back.





With renewed energies to make Art, a lot of Art!
